    JANTZI, Mrs. Elmina L. - Suddenly, on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, at St. Mary's Hospital, in Kitchener, Elmina L. (Gerber) Jantzi, of Wellesley.Elmina was born in Wilmot township 83 years ago. Daughter of the late Solomon Gerber and the late Laura Leis. Mrs. Jantzi was a faithful member of the Maple View Mennonite Church, where she was active with the sewing circle. She was also a member of the Wellesley Horticultural Society.Loving mother of Viola and her husband Glenn Gascho of Wasaga Beach, Orie and his wife Anne Jantzi of RR 2, Nanticoke, Marjorie and her husband Cleon Wideman of St. Albert, Alta., Marlene and her husband Delford Yutzi of New Hamburg, Ronald and his wife Karen Jantzi of Wasaga Beach, Irene and her husband George Hosea of Wellesley, Sharon and her husband Larry Keats of Brampton and Larry Jantzi and his friend, Patricia of Cambridge. Dear sister of Ohmer Gerber of New Hamburg, Moses and his wife Mildred Gerber of Wellesley and Sarah Leis of New Hamburg. Sister-in-law of Eva Gerber of Stratford, Mary Gerber of Millbank and Susan Paleczny of Waterloo. Lovingly remembered by 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Predeceased by her husband, Alvin Jantzi, October 13, 1982; by four brothers, Elmer, Amos, Solomon and Alvin in infancy; by four sisters, Emma Schmidt, Esther Schwartz, Laura Jantzi and Clara in infancy; brothers-in-law, Ralph Leis, Nicholas Schmidt, David Schwartz and Elias Jantzi. Also by sisters-in-law, Sarah Gerber and Sarah Gerber.Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home in Wellesley, where family and friends will be received today (Saturday) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the Maple View Mennonite Church on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003 at 2: 30 p.m. Pastor Bruce Sawatsky will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Memorials to the Maple View Mennonite Church Building Fund or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

    YUTZI, Marlene Laura - Peacefully, surrounded by family, on Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005 at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Marlene Yutzi of New Hamburg. She was born in Kitchener, 58 years ago a daughter of the late Alvin and Elmina L. (Gerber) Jantzi. Marlene was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg and had been employed at Zehrs Markets for over 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and crafts as her hobbies. Beloved wife of Delford Yutzi whom she married July 15, 1967. Loving mother of Christine and Martin Normandeau of New Hamburg, Michelle and Mark Fisher of Duntroon, Susan Yutzi-Smith and Darryl Smith of New Hamburg. Marlene's life centered around her seven grandchildren, Mackenzie, Alex and Jackson Normandeau, Sarah and Isaac Fisher, Griffin and Brayden Smith. Dear sister of Viola and Glenn Gascho of Wasaga Beach, Orie and Anne Jantzi of Nanticoke, Marjorie and Cleon Wideman of St. Albert, Alberta, Ron and Karen Jantzi of Wasaga Beach, Irene and George Hosea of Wellesley, Sharon and Larry Keats of Brampton, Larry Jantzi and his friend Patti of Princeton. Also remembered by the Yutzi family, Rita and Harold Steinman of Wellesley, Donald and Amita Yutzi, Bob and Diane Anger, all of New Hamburg, Mary Jane and Larry Falk of Wellesley. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005 at 9 a.m. transfer will be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg for the service at 11 o'clock a.m. with Pastor Nadine Nicholds and Pastor Andre Lavergne officiating. Burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the Grand River Hospital Cancer Centre.
