HACKBART, Robert (Bob) - Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, on Friday, February 25, 2005, at Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Mary (Schaffer) Hackbart for 54 years. Loving father of Rob and his wife Sherry. Cherished grandpa of Sara and Tanner. Dear brother of Roy (Dorothy); Lorne (Ruby); Audrey (late Harold Dietrich) and Phyllis (late Alfred Mohr). Will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews. Retired employee of Kaufman's Footwear where he worked for 51 years. Active volunteer at K-W Glass for 15 years. Longtime member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 78 John St. W., Waterloo at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment Memory Gardens, Breslau.
