Daniel Bellar. Daniel Bellar, 76, of Millbank died suddenly Monday evening, May 16^th, shortly after retiring for the night. A son of the late Andrew Bellar and his wife, the former Mary Kuepfer. He was born on October 18^th, 1883, on the eighth line of Mornington Township. Following his marriage to Sarah Erb, on January 28^th, 1915, he farmed in Mornington township until retiring to Millbank in April, 1930. He was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank. Surviving besides his wife, are one daughter, Mrs. Earl (Mary) Litwiller, Petersburg; one brother, John, east of Poole; one sister, Mrs. Lena Graber, Gravill, Indiana; and two grandchildren. The body is at the Futher funeral home, Wellesley, until Friday at 11: 00 a.m., when removal will be made to Riverdale Amish Mennonite Church, Millbank, for a memorial service at 2: 30 p.m. Rev. Menno Zehr and Rev. David Jantzi will officiate. Burial will be made in the adjoining cemetery.

Bellar, Daniel, son of Andrew and Mary (Kuepfer) Bellar, was born in Mornington Twp., Ont., Oct. 18, 1883; died at Millbank, Ont., May 16, 1960; aged 76 y. 6 m. 28 d. On Jan. 28, 1915, he was married to Sarah Erb, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter (Mary-- Mrs. Earl Litwiller, 2 grandchildren, one sister (Mrs. Lena Graber), and one brother (John). He was a member of the Riverdale A.M. Church, where funeral services were held May 20, in charge of Orland Gingerich, Menno Zehr, and David Jantzi.
