    James R. Glass

    James R. Glass of 209 Glenn Rd., died Thursday, at St. Mary's Hospital, after a brief illness. He was 35. Mr. Glass was born in Paris Oct. 2, 1935, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Glass. He had been a resident of Kitchener, for the past 31 years and was affiliated with the Jehovah's Witnesses. He had been employed by the Dominion Consolidated Truck Lines, Hespeler, for four years. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, the former Patricia Schnaeringer and one son, John, at home, a daughter, Jennifer, a brother Robert in Welland and a sister, Mrs. Paul (Joan) Jolly of Kitchener. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, where Herbert Katzmier, will conduct the service Saturday, at 3 p.m. Burial service will be held at the funeral home with, interment to follow in Preston cemetery.

    Joan Marie Jolly

    It saddens me to announce that my dear wife Joan passed away at home Monday April 8, 2019 after a long Illness. She has been my constant companion for over 60 years of wedded happiness. Joan was born in Paris Ontario December 28,1938. Survived by her husband Paul sons David and Bryan and their wives. Grandmother to four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Joan was a long time servant of her God Jehovah and had dedicated her life to Him at an early age. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Beatrice Glass (Gillow) and her brothers Robert and James. A memorial service will be held April 20, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 355 Gage Avenue Kitchener. I wish to thank the many who showed love and compassion to Joan during this most difficult time especially her sister-in-law Lorraine Searle, brother-in-law Allan Jolly and the ParaMed nurses who came daily to care for Joan, Bethany, Shelly and Charlie.     Suddenly, after a brief illness at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Saturday, February 26, 2005, at the age of 39 years. Predeceased by her loving parents, Jim and Pat Glass. Dear sister of John and his wife Marietta of Kitchener. Aunt Fer to Carter and Mitchell. Survived by her uncle Gary Schnaeringer (Shirley) and her aunt Joan Jolly (Paul). Long-time employee of Canada Post. The family will receive friends at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, on Wednesday at 1: 00 p.m.
