    In Loving Memory Died At Roseville, Ont., on Thursday, December 4th, 1924, at 5 o'clock, p.m, Elizabeth Bricker Beloved wife of Mr. Daniel D. Snyder, in her 78th year. The Funeral Will take place on Sunday afternoon, 7th inst. at 2 o'clock, from the residence of her husband, to the Stone Church for services and cemetery for burial. Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation "In Him there is light"

    Elmer S. Stoltz

    A former resident of this area, Elmer Stanley Stoltz, passed away at Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, Thursday, June 23, 1994, in his 90th year following a stroke suffered April 17 at Simcoe Terrace Retirement Home, Barrie, where he and his wife resided since December, 1992. A son of the late Albert and Lucinda (Snyder) Stoltz, Elmer was born February 4, 1905 in Wilmot Township, Waterloo County. The family lived at Roseville for many years as did Elmer and Margaret (nee Shelby) following their marriage May 25, 1935 in Roseville United Brethren Church. Moving to Alliston area in 1947, Elmer was herdsman at the W.H.C. Ruthven dairy farm which he later purchased also sold, moving to town to retire in 1956. However, he achieved his wish to have the late Dr. Walker's home converted to six apartments, also accepted other employment until forced to retire due to health problems. Elmer never neglected farming operations but was challenged by judging competitions and took pride in owning and showing purebred livestock. The many tangible awards attest to his many achievements. Elmer participated in activities of community and church and retired teachers in the area will recall him serving on school board. Besides his beloved wife of 59 years, he is dear father of Ronald and Lucille of Cambridge, Anne and husband Joe of Bell Ewart and Allan and wife Linda of Cambridge. Beloved grandfather of Barbara and husband Steve Gray of Alliston, Wendy and husband Michael Harris of Kitchener, Mark Haddock of Kitchener also Darren and wife Wendy. Stoltz, Jennifer, Michael, Jillian, Matthew and Jeffrey Stoltz all of Cambridge also loving great 'Poppa' of James Norman Gray and baby brother Adam Elmer. Predeceased by daughter Betty Lou (1948) and brother Roy (1975). Nephew Will Stoltz of Roseville gave meaningful tribute during services in Alliston also Roseville United Brethren Church where Rev. Ruth Snider officiated on Monday, June 27 at 11 a.m. Interment Roseville Cemetery.

    On Wednesday, May 12, 1982, at Roseville, suddenly, as the result of a heart attack, the former Olive Alberta Becker, of RR 1, Ayr. aged 88 years.

    She was a member of Roseville United Brethren Church and a life member of the Women's Missionary Association of the church; a Sunday school teacher for many years and a charter member of Roseville-New Dundee WCTU.

    Mother of Mrs. Raymond (Lois) Simpson of RR 2, Fort Frances; step-mother of Mrs. Elmer (Margaret) Stolz of Alliston; sister of Myrtle Becker of Roseville, Mrs. Cranson (Beulah) Hallman of RR 1, New Dundee and Mrs. Russell (Eva) Stoltz of RR 2, Kitchener; six grandchildren, and Anne (Mrs. Joe Haddock) of Belle, Ewart. Eight great- grandchildren also survive. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Albert in 1949, a son in infancy; three brothers, Floyd, Elmer and Melvin.

    Funeral service was held at Roseville United Brethren Church with Rev. Dale Collier and Rev. Ray Zimmerman officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

    Miss Becker was an active member of Roseville United Brethren Church and was Roseville correspondent for the Ayr News for many years.

    She was predeceased by her parents, Albert Charles and Elizabeth Anne Becker; one sister, Mrs. Olive Shelby and three brothers, Floyd and Melvin of Roseville and Dr. Elmer Becker of Huntington, Ind.

    Dear sister of Beulah (Mrs. C. W. Hallman) of New Dundee, Eva (Mrs. Russell Stoltz) of Kitchener. Miss Becker will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

    Rested at Westmount Funeral Home, Kitchener, then to Roseville United Brethren Church today (Wed.) for service at 2 p.m. Interment in Roseville Cemetery.

    Verna Coleman of New Hamburg passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Monday, November 15, 1993. She was 85. Verna resided at Nithview Home, New Hamburg and was a daughter of the late Austin Bricker and Mary Salima Snyder. She was a member of Roseville United Brethren in Christ Church, where she was also a former member of the WMF. She had been a former member of the New Dundee Women's Institute. She is the dearly loved mother of Ruth and her husband Orville Fried of RR 1, Plattsville and Keith Brian who predeceased her in infancy in 1944. Beloved grandmother of Brian and his wife Lori, Kevin and his wife Kim, Brad and his wife Lynn and Darrell and his wife Lisa. She is lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren Nathan, Keenan, Jennifer, Derrick, Ryan and Jay. She is fondly reme-bered by a number of nieces and nephews and was predeceased by a sister Myrle Bricker. Rested at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg on Tuesday November 16th. Transfer will be made at noon today (Wed.) to the Roseville United Brethren In Christ Church where the funeral service will be held at 2: 00 p.m. with Rev. Ruth Snider officiating assisted by Pastor Gerald Schwartzentruber. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery, New Dundee.
