    GONE TO HER LONG REST.

    Caroline Brown, beloved wife of Mr. Henry Otterbein, passed away at the home in this village, Sunday, September 9th, 1923, at the age of 68 years, 3 mos. and 1 day. Funeral took place Wednesday afternoon, services being held in the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Chas. W. Gardner, and interment in the Strong cemetery, Northeast Sheridan. Obituary next week.

Ran bicycle shop in Barryton, later was barber in different places. Buried Flake Cem. Sons: Floyd, Russell. Sisters: Clara Whipple, Mae Gillette, Ella Whipple, Ruby Myers. Brothers: George died July 1955; Jake died Dec. 1955. (BP 4/19/56)
