Mr. Bock was an active member of Bethel Missionary Church, New Dundee; served on Wilmot township as Deputy Reeve and Counsellor for 12 years. He was associated with the Federation of Agriculture and Director of the New Dundee Co-Operative Creamery. Beloved husband of the former Margaret Stoltz; dear father of Willard and his wife Ethel of Kitchener, Earl and his wife Elaine of New Dundee, Arnold and his wife Ila of Oshawa and Janice of Kitchener; brother of Ronald of Missis- sauga, Marjorie (Mrs. Floyd Sherk) of Cambridge and Althea (Mrs. Homer Devitt) of Cape Coral, Fla. Six grandchildren, Rhonda and Jillian, Kimberly and Gregory, Tristan and Kent, also survive. Predeceased by his parents.     SHERK (nee Bock), Marjorie 1907 - 2010 Marjorie Elfleda (nee Bock) Sherk passed away at Fairview Mennonite Home in Cambridge, on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the age of 103 years, 5 months, and 17 days. Marjorie was born on March 24, 1907 in Wilmot Tp.; daughter of Emerson and Melvina (nee Shantz) Bock. Married in 1935 to Floyd Sherk, they lived in New Dundee, Ontario. In 1981 they moved to an apartment in the Fairview Mennonite Complex, Cambridge. Floyd died in 1986. Marjorie was a faithful member of Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church, New Dundee. Marjorie is survived by her five children, Marian (Fred) Witmer of New Hamburg, Vernon (Leone) Sherk of Kitchener, Kathryn Sherk of Kitchener, Allan (Carolyn) Sherk of Mississauga and Alice (Pete) Gill of Indiana. Survived by nine grandchildren, Joan (Paul) Doehn, James (Karen) Witmer, Bevin (Crystal) Witmer, Sheila (Doug) Dedman, Wendy (Brian) Wiens, Peter (Paula) Sherk, Lisa (Amitai) ben David, Kimberly (Chris) Brand and Rhonda (Mike) Williams. Also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, four greatgreat- grandchildren, by her sister Althea Devitt, sisters-in-law Grace Bock, Norma Sherk and Isabel Frey; and many Bock and Sherk nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents and husband, infant great-granddaughter Hannah Dedman, her brother Cameron Bock and his wife Margaret, her brother Ronald Bock, brother-in-law Homer Devitt, and by several Sherk brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Visitation will be held at Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church, New Dundee, on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Funeral service at 2 p.m. with Interment to follow at New Dundee Cemetery.     DEVITT, Althea Of Tiverton, passed away at the Kincardine Hospital on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 in her 98th year. She was born on October 18, 1919 to the late Melvina Shantz and Emerson Bock. Beloved wife of the late Homer Devitt who predeceased her in 1991. Greatly missed by her children Sylvia (Erv) Nixdorf of Vancouver Island, Graham (Carol) Devitt of Waterloo, Blake (Patty) Devitt of Ripley, Brad (Marla) Devitt of Florida and Lavonne (Brian) Robinson of London. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren, sister-in-law Grace Bock of Toronto and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Dennis in 1957 and siblings Ronald Bock, Cameron Bock and Marjorie Sherk. Althea had a deep faith that sustained her throughout her life. She was a gentle and caring person who made everyone she met feel special. She was a gifted artist and writer who took pleasure in sharing her artwork and memoirs with family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home , Ripley, on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. with visitation 2 hours prior. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener.     Mr. Erb was the owner and operator of R.T. Erb Garage in Waterloo for 45 years. Member of First United Church, Waterloo, the Waterloo Wellington Flying Club, the Khaki Club, Bridgeport Rod and Gun Club and member of the Lake Rosaland Association.

    Loving husband of the former Lorene Gerth. Dear father of Lynda Beam and her husband Pat of Maryhill. Will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Michael Beam and his wife Lori of St. Clements, David Beam of St. Clements and his friend Tracey Young, of Mary Hill. Also survived by a brother Ray and his wife Jean of Waterloo; a sister, Dorothy Knechtel and her husband Joe of Breslau.

    Mr. Erb's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S. Waterloo, today (Monday) from 7-9 and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Judy Keenan-Harris officiating.     SHERK, Kathryn Elaine 1940 - 2019 Kathryn E. Sherk's earthly journey ended on Wednesday evening, June 26, 2019 when God took her home to heaven, aged 79 years. Kathryn was born on May 1, 1940 at New Dundee, the 3rd child of Floyd and Marjorie (Bock) Sherk. She is survived by her siblings - Marian (Fred) Witmer, Vernon (Leone) Sherk, Allan (Carolyn) Sherk, Alice (Pete) Gill, and several nieces and nephews and their families. She is predeceased by her parents and brother-in-law Pete Gill. Kathryn worked for 40 years at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN). She loved to travel in Ontario, Canada and the U.S. and took several trips to Israel, Greece and England. Kathryn also loved to take pictures of most everything. She had a very positive and joyful outlook on life. She was a member of the Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church at New Dundee. Kathryn will be dearly missed by her many relatives and friends. A private family burial is to be held at the New Dundee Cemetery. A Memorial Service for Kathryn will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethel EM Church, New Dundee. A reception will follow the service. All are invited to attend. Funeral Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467. Donations in memory of Kathryn to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre (www.grhf.org/ways-to-give/) will be much appreciated. Donations may be made at Henry Walser Funeral Home or at the Memorial Service, Bethel EM Church, New Dundee.
