    Mrs. Geneva Snyder

    Mrs. Geneva Edna Snyder, 72, died yesterday at her residence, 39 George St., Waterloo. Daughter of the late Ephraim and Rozelia Cook, she was born Feb. 24, 1875, at Breslau. She was the widow of Alfred H. Snyder, who predeceased her in 1938. She attended First United Church, Waterloo, and was a member of Firat United Ladles Aid, Watterloo, Auxiliary to Freeport Sanatorium and Westmount Golf and Country Club. She is survived by one son, Murray of Montreal; two daughters, Mrs. J. Harold (Helen) Smyth, Kitchener, and Mrs. Douglas (Isobel) Steadman, Toronto; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Lorne Bricker, Kitchener, and Gordon Bricker, Toronto, and one sister, Mrs. Edward Clemens, Kitchener. One son, Stuart, predeceased her in 1942, The body is resting at the residence 89 George St., Waterloo, where the public funeral will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. with Rev. A.R. Cragg of First United Church officiating. Interment will be in Woodland Mausoleum.

    Helen was the beloved wife of James Harold Smyth Q.C.: dear mother of Hugh of Kitchener, Elinor of Toronto and Maggi Fisher of England: grandmother of Sarah and Chris Smyth of Kitchener and Nick and Mark Fisher of England: sister of Isobel Steadman of Barrie. Helen's late parents were Alfred H. Snyder and Geneva E. Bricker, of Waterloo. Predeceased by her brothers, Stuart Hartman and Edward Murray.
    Helen Smyth was a member of St Andrews Presbyterian Church Kitchener ON, the Westmount Golf and Country Club and the Granite Club.

    Prominent Waterloo Furniture Executive Dies Suddenly

    Sales manager and vice-president of Snyder's Ltd., Stuart Snyder died at his home here early Sunday. In his 40th year, deceased had lived in Waterloo all his life.

    Mr. Snyder obtained his early education at Ridley College in St. Catharines, and later attended the University of Toronto, where he was a well known football player. Mr. Snyder, at the time of his death, was a member of the Alpha Delta Phae Fraternity, the University Club, Toronto, and the Westmount Golf and Country Club, Kitchener.

    Deceased was a son of the late Alfred Snyder and Geneva Bricker, who survives. Besides his widow, the former Isobel Stephens McKay (of Collingwood), Mr. Snyder is survived by one son, Christopher, one daughter, Mary Elizabeth, one brother, Murray of Montreal, and two sisters, Mrs. Harold Smythe, Kitchener, and Mrs. Douglas Steadman, of Toronto.

    Until last September, Mr. Snyder , was employed by his firm at Montreal. He had been in charge of the Snyder plant there for almost 13 years.
