Mrs. Walter A. Scott Passes - The death occurred in Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday morning of Mrs. Walter A. Scott of Glanford Station, in her 67th year. She had been ill for a period of three weeks. Mrs. Scott was born in Ayr. Her maiden name was Mary Gray and she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Gray who resided at Greenfield for many years. Mr. and Mrs. Scott and family resided on the 9th concession of North Dumfries, three miles northeast of Ayr, before leaving for Glanford Station 20 years ago. Besides her husband, there survive one daughter, Mrs. Melbourne Smith, and a son, Gilbert Scott, both of Glanford Station. Also surviving are a brother, Edward Gray, Flint, Mich., and one sister, Mrs. Maud Fowler, of Galt. The funeral took place from Caledonia on Monday afternoon to the Ayr Cemetery.

Gilbert A. Scott of RR 2, Mount Hope, passed away at his residence on Sunday, November 8th. He was in his 73rd year. Mr. Scott was born on the Scott farm, Greenfield Road, RR 1, Ayr, a son of the late Walter Scott and Mary Gray. He moved to RR 2, Mount Hope many years ago, and operated a farm there. Beloved husband of Doris Hussack; dear father of Walter of Toronto and Wayne of Mount Hope: brother of Dorothy Smith of Hamilton. Funeral service was held at the Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia, on Tuesday. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
