Friends called at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, until Thursday noon, when removal was made to Calvary United Church, St. Jacobs, for funeral service. Interment in Floradale Mennonite cemetery.

Passed away peacefully at The Village at University Gates, Waterloo on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at the age of 102. Beloved wife of the late Lorne Reist (1997). Loving mother of Murray and Andrea Reist and Joyce and Jeff Bilhorn. Loved grandmother of Cora Bilhorn, Mark (Marcy) Bilhorn, Calla Bilhorn, Linda (Alex) Wright, and Scott (Charlotte) Reist. Dear sister-in-law of Adele "Dolly" Holling and Edgar Reist. Wilma was the last surviving member of her family having been predeceased by her parents Benjamin and Emma (Umbach) Stickney and siblings Ernest (Florence) Stickney, Clarence (Ethel) (Madeleine) Stickney, Harold (Phyllis) Stickney, Vera Stickney, and Orvella (Harvey) Reist. She was a long-time and faithful member of Benton Street Baptist Church, Kitchener. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau, following a private family graveside service. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff in the Johnston Neighbourhood at The Village at University Gates for their loving and compassionate care. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Earl and Ruth Reist of Varney, Marilyn and Jack Yolkowskie of Waterloo, Ron Reist and Sandra of Waterloo and Richard Cathrea of Elmira. Also fondly remembered by her 12 grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Dear sister of Wilma Reist of Bridgeport and Harold Stickney of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Emma Stickney; one daughter, Mavis Cathrea (2006); two brothers, Ernest and Clarence Stickney and one sister, Vera Stickney. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira, on Friday, March 6, 2009, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. where funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, March 7, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Emmerson officiating, followed by interment in Elmira Union Cemetery. STICKNEY, Harold Benjamin - Second World War RCAF Veteran, 25 year Club Member of the University of Waterloo, active member of Glen Acres Baptist Church and the 50 Plus Brunswick Bowling League. Passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 85. He will be missed greatly by Phyllis (nee Jack), his wife of 60 years. Loving father of Rosalynn (Cliff) Tubbe, Sheila (Jim) Lewis and Stuart Stickney.
