    DONALD E. KURT 1941 - 2007 Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, while vacationing in Niagara Falls, on May 17, 2007, at the age of 65 years. Loving husband of Rose (Bruckman) for 44 years; loving father of Steven, Dale (Sofija), Lynda (Richard) Schwarz and Lori Temple; loved grandpa of Tabitha and Alisha; dear brother of Mary Hoerle, Marie Brick (Karl Studer), Gerry, Doug (Carol), and Donna (Leo) Nigosian. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Antonia and a sister-in-law, Janet. Due to his illness, he was forced to retire from Electrohome Ltd. after 24 years service. Friends are invited to share their memories of Don with his family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Don's life and faith will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Charles Fedy C.R. officiating. A reception will immediately follow in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home. Condolences for the family and donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario may be arranged through the funeral home, 519-745-8445 or www.erbgood.com. In living memory of Don, a tree will be planted through the Trees for Learning Program by the funeral home.

    KURT, Gerald - It is with great sadness that we share the news of Gerry's passing. Gerry was injured in an ATV accident that occurred just off Highway 651 near Missanabie on the 21st of September 2007. He was taken to Lady Dunn Hospital in Wawa by ambulance. Gerry died later that evening in the hospital as a result of his injuries, at the age of 59. Gerry is predeceased by his loving wife, Janet Kurt (nee Moore, 2000). He is also predeceased by his mom, Antonia Kurt (nee Balzer, 1986) and dad, Arthur Kurt (2001). Predeceased by his brother, Donald Kurt. Gerry is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Mary Hoerle, and Marie Brick; his brother, Doug Kurt and wife Carol; his youngest sister, Donna Nigosian and husband Leo and his sister-in-law, Rose. A memorial service will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 7, Breslau. Family and friends are invited back to the funeral home following the interment for refreshments and a chance to share fond memories of Gerry. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the London Health Sciences Foundation to be used for the multi-organ transplant program (cards available at the funeral home).
