Death of an Old Galt Boy

The sad intelligence was received yesterday of the death of Mr. Thos. Long, (son of Mrs. Long, Beverly street) which occurred in one of the hospitals in San Francisco, Cal., on the 26th of August. The letter conveying the sad news gave no particulars as to the cause of death, but stated that they would be forwarded in a few days. Mr. Long will be remembered by many as being connected with and at one time having charge of the telegraph office in Galt some years ago.
