    SHANTZ, M. Clarene Marion Clarene Shantz was born May 17, 1937 to Willard and Ruby (Hamacher) Haas in New Dundee. Clarene passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010 after a struggle with lung cancer. She served as pastor's wife and later supervised the cafeteria at Eastwood Collegiate. Her love for the Lord and others was demonstrated by volunteering for many organizations. She was predeceased by her parents and two sons, Greg and Brent. Grieving her loss is her husband, Allan; children, Beccy Kennedy (David), Collette Warriner (Michael), and Trevor (Caralyn), 18 grand- children, and seven great- grandchildren, and her sister Elinore Moody. Clarene's family will receive relatives and friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church, 3849 King St. E., Kitchener on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 1: 00 p.m. with Rev. Bill Anderson and Rev. Ken Wideman officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service at the church. Private interment at Wilmot Centre Cemetery.     MOODY, Elinore Passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Grand River Regional Hospital, K-W Health Centre, Kitchener. Elinore resided at R.R. # 1 New Dundee and was born 69 years ago in Kitchener. She was the daughter of the late Willard and Ruby (Hamacher) Haas. Beloved wife of Ken Moody who she married August 12, 1967. Loving mother of Rochelle and Michael Burnett of Campbellville, Heidi and Don Kroes of Milton, Abby and Steve Numan of Bright. Sadly missed by her grand- children AJ, Nick, Ashlyn and Jayce. Remembered by her brothers-in-law Rev. Allan Shantz of Kitchener, Russell and Diane Moody of Brampton, sisters-in-law Marian and Paul Snyder of Waterloo and Marjorie Moody of Manitoulin Island. Missed by a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Elinore was pre- deceased by her sister Clarene Shantz and brother-in-law Dwight Moody. Elinore was a member of Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church, New Dundee. She taught for many years for the Waterloo Board of Education and Dayspring Christian Academy. She was a member of the Wilmot Horticultural Society. She enjoyed sewing for different charities, gardening and watching her grandchildren participate in their sporting events. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg tonight (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and again Friday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Elinore's life will take place on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church, New Dundee with Pastor Graham Burkhart and Pastor Randy Banks officiating. Interment in Wilmot Centre Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Grand River Regional Cancer Centre, Kitchener or Samaritans Purse.
