LICHTY, Christian R.-- On Monday, April 30, 1979, at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton, Christian R. Lichty, formerly of Wellesley and Poole. He was born in Mornington Township, 77 years ago. Son of the late Nicholas Lichty and the late Catherine Ropp; beloved father of Kenneth of Kitchener, Margaret (Mrs. Allen Jantzi) of Stratford and Dorothy (Mrs. Edward Neeley) of London, Ont. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife the former Luella Albrecht, November 7, 1969. Also predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. Friends may call at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, until noon Thursday when removal will be made to the Poole Mennonite Church, for service at 2: 30 p.m. Rev. Amsey Martin and Rev Wilmar Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in Poole Mennonite cemetery.

Of 91 Queen St. E., Wellesley, died suddenly Thursday, at his home, born in Mornington Township 72 years ago, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Lichty.

Beloved husband of Mary Kipfer; father of Alice (Mrs. Edgar Roth) of Kitchener; brother of Christian of Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton; dear grandfather of Richard Roth; predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley. The family will receive friends this evening from 7-9 and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9. At noon Sunday, December 1, the remains will be removed to the Poole Mennonite Church for the service at 2:30. Rev. Amsey Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Obituary of Alice Roth - 1926-2007

Peacefully passed away at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, on Friday, May 4, 2007, at age 81.

Beloved wife of the late Edgar Roth; loving mother of Richard and his wife Trudy; special grandma of Steven (Michelle); dear sister-law of Eileen and Richard Wilhelm, and Betty and Gerry Schwartz. Also will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Alice was predeceased by her parents, Rudy and Mary (Kipfer) Lichty and sister-in-law, Doris Stere.

Alice was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church. Special thanks to the entire staff of Sunnyside Home, especially to the loving caregivers of Buttonworks and Dr. Mather and Dr. Landy who kept her comfortable.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Alice with her family at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Alice?s life and faith will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, May 7, 2007 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Interment in Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo followed by a reception in the Fireside Reception Room of the funeral home.

Roth, Richard James (July 28, 1952 - November 23, 2016)

With family present Richard peacefully passed from life into the loving arms of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Loving and devoted husband of Trudy for over 39 years. Beloved father of Steven and his caring and loving daughter-in-law Michelle (Michy). Proud and generous "Grandpa Richie" of Zachary and Mason. Predeceased by his parents Edgar and Alice Roth. Dearly missed by sister-in-law Brenda, brother-in-law Hiko, their daughter Amy, her husband Jake and daughter Isabella. Richard loved life and taught those around him the importance of sharing a laugh, having fun and treating each other with genuine kindness. He had a great sense of humour and a deep love for his family. We would like to thank family, friends and the doctors and nurses from the CCAC team for their help and support during this bittersweet journey.
