    GADSHILL Mrs. Conrad - Schmidt, 83, of RR 1, Gadshill, died today at her home.

    Born on Jan. 21, 1881, the former Margaret Amelia Duke, she was a daughter of the late George Duke and the former Elizabeth Wismer. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, North Easthope Township.

    Her husband, whom she married in Hampstead on Sept. 24, 1902, died in 1958.

    Surviving are two sons, Ad- Edison and John of RR 1, Gads- hill; two daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Pearl) Capling of Floradale and Mrs. Clarence (Margaret) Neeb of RR 1, Gadshill; one brother, Albert of RR 1 Gadshill; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Orlo, in 1960 and by one sister, Mrs. Theodore (Adeline) Capes of Toronto in 1963.

    The body is at the Futher Brothers Funeral Home. Funer al arrangements are pending.

    NEEB, Margaret Henrietta - Of Greenwood Court, Stratford, passed away, peacefully, at her residence, on Saturday, July 31, 2004, in her 91st year. Born in North Easthope Township on October 10, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Conrad Schmidt and the former Margaret Stueck. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley. Beloved wife of Clarence Peter Neeb, whom she married on June 8, 1938 in Wellesley and who predeceased her on March 19, 1968. Margaret was also predeceased by her son, Rev. Dr. John H.C. Neeb on December 28, 1997. Dear mother of Peter Neeb and wife Jean (Knechtel) of RR 3, Goderich and Catherine (Cathy) and husband Gerry Rehberg of Stratford. Loving grandmother of Mark Neeb of Grand Bend and friend Tina Murray of London and Matthew Neeb and friend Linda Ashton of Stratford. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Reta Schmidt and Frieda Neeb, both of New Hamburg and Margaret Mueller of Tavistock and many nieces, nephews and their families. Besides her husband, son and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Addison Schmidt, Orlo Schmidt and John Schmidt; a sister, Pearl Capling; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cecil Capling, Annie Schmidt, Grace Schmidt, Mary and Edwin Fleischauer, Henry Neeb, John Neeb, Verda Neeb, Myrtle Neeb and Herman and Florence Mueller. Relatives and friends will be received by the family at Greenwood Court Chapel, 90 Greenwood Drive, Stratford on Wednesday, August 4 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and at Heinbuck Funeral Home, 156 Albert Street, Stratford from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley on Thursday, August 5, 2004 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., Rev. Andy J. Schroth will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to The Lutheran Hour, The Canadian Red Cross Society or a charity of one's choice through the funeral home at 271-5062.

Clarence (son of Henry Neeb and Catherine Berg) was born 11 Nov 1908, Wellesley Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; died 19 Mar 1968, Stratford, Perth Co., Ontario, Canada; was buried , First St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery, Wellesley Village, Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada.
