    WELLESLEY - February 2, 1952 - Mrs. Norman Koehler, 54, of Berlets Corners died Saturday night at her home. She was born in North Easthope, Feb. 1, 1898, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Berg. Her marriage to Norman Koehler took place in New Hamburg in 1924. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wellesley. Four sons, Earl Schmidt, of Berlets Corners, Karl of North Easthope, Norman and Henry at home, and two daughters, Hilda, of Kitchener and Ella, at home survive. Also surviving are six sisters, Miss Annie Berg of Breslau, Mrs. Jacob Schneider of Breslau, Mrs. Charles Wegfahrt of Philipsburg, Mrs. Edward Nau of Shakespeare, Mrs. William Studer R.R. 5, Stratford, and Mrs. Astor Koehler, R.R. 1, Wellesley. Private funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the home with public service at St. Paul's Church, Wellesley, with Rev. H. Binhammer officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. The body will rest at the home after 1 p.m. tomorrow.

    KOEHLER, Karl A. - Peacefully, to his eternal home, on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003, with his loving family by his side, at St. Mary's Hospital, in Kitchener, Karl Astor Koehler of Luther Village on the Park, in Waterloo and formerly of North Easthope township.

    Karl was born in Wilmot township 76 years ago. Son of the late Norman Koehler and the late Leah Berg. Mr. Koehler was a faithful member of First St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Wellesley, where he served on the church board for 21 years. Karl farmed in North Easthope township, retiring in 1980. He also served on the Chapel Committee at Luther Village on the Park. Karl was a member of the Wellesley Horticultural Society and was an avid gardener.

    Beloved husband of Margaret C. (Erb) Koehler of Waterloo, for 51 wonderful years. Dear brother of Earl and Ingeborg Schmidt of Waterloo, Norman and Barbara Koehler of New Hamburg, Henry and Geraldine Koehler of Wellesley, Hilda and Edwin Dunn of Breslau and Ella and Arland Seip of Clifford.

    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St. in Wellesley, where family and friends will be received on Saturday and Sunday afternoons only from 2-5 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wellesley on Monday, Jan. 6, 2003 at 2 p.m., Pastor R. George Reinhart will officiate. Burial will follow in First St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery.
