    Snider, Laverne \endash At St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Saturday, May 10, 1986, Laverne Snider, of 59 Cedar St. N., Kitchener, in his 62nd year.Son of Irene Snider; beloved husband of Edna Snider (nee Bauman); father of Ruth Gibb of Cambridge, Barb Snider of Nova Scotia and Gerry and his wife Donna of Waterloo; step-father of Dorothy Raabe of Guelph, Carol Gregory of Heidelberg, Kathy Nelton* of Harriston, Karen Larson of Listowel, Ken Gregory of St. Jacobs and Joe Witmer of Kitchener; brother of Leighton and Lyle, both of Kitchener. Also survived by 10 grandchildren. Laverne was predeceased by his father, Lloyd and a brother, Earl.He served overseas during the Second World War and was employed as a taxi driver in the City of Kitchener.Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, today (Monday) from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, on Tuesday, May 13, 1986 at 2: 30pm, with Rev. Harold Brill officiating. Interment Woodland cemetery, Kitchener.As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
