HARRISON, Michael "Mike" - Passed away peacefully, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Tuesday, June 27, 2006, with his three loving sons by his side, in his 87th year. Mike had been retired from Prudential of America Insurance Company after 20 plus years of service as a CLU staff manager. Following after his insurance career, Mike worked with his brother, Hank with Biltwell Tool and Die and also had a close relationship with Sharma Diesel and good friend John Sharma. He was a member of St. James Rosemount United Church, Kitchener. Mike had served in the Canadian Army Overseas during the Second World War and was a proud veteran. Dear father of Richard "Rick" (Lenora) Harrison, Bob Harrison, and Scott (Vanda) Harrison, all of Kitchener. Will be sadly be missed by his grandchildren, Paul, Amy, Alexandra and Tyler. Brother of Jim Harrison (Juliana) and Adele Craig (Jack) both of Brampton. Predeceased by his wife, Edna Ruth (nee Teeple) in 1996 and brothers, William and Henry. Mike will be missed by his special friends, Harley, Chloe and Winston. Michael's family will receive friends and relatives at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home and Chapel, 51 Benton at Church St., Kitchener tonight (Wednesday) from 7-9 p.m., and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal service will be held from St. James Rosemount United Church, (171 Sherwood Ave.), Kitchener on Friday, June 30, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Rick Burgess officiating. Cremation to follow.
