    :SCHNEIDER, Grace On Thursday, October 21, 2010 at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Grace (Woods) Schneider age 85 years of Waterloo formerly of Elmira. Beloved wife of the late Harry D. Schneider (October 26, 2009) for 61 years. Dear mother of John and Judy Schneider of Cambridge, Jayne and Don Brubacher of RR #1, Elora, Tim and Jan Schneider of Waterloo, Kathy and Lew Bauman of RR #1, West Montrose. Grandma is lovingly remembered by her grand- children Andrew, James (Laura), Bradley (Monika), Lori Martin (Ryan), Kevin (Jacqui), Josh and Jake. Grace is also remembered by the Bob Davis family. Sister-in-law of Murray and Bev Schneider of Owen Sound. Predeceased by her parents Percy and Sylvia (Miller) Woods, her three sisters Norma Davis (1998), Elsie May at birth, Florence Emeline in infancy. Grace will be sadly missed by all her friends and caregivers at Parkwood Suites. Grace was a faithful member of West Montrose United Church and the UCW, a life member of the Ever Faithful Women's Institute, and she was devoted to her farming community at RR #3, Waterloo. The family will receive their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, Elmira on Monday, October 25, at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Jagger officiating followed by interment in West Montrose United Cemetery. In Grace's memory donations to Pet Patrol Animal Rescue or Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. www.dreisingerfuneralhome.com.

    SCHNEIDER, Tim Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2019, after his long-awaited renal transplant at St. Joseph's Healthcare, Hamilton, at the age of 61. Tim was the creative, hard working and never a dull moment husband and soul mate of Janet (Davies) Schneider for 27 years. Son-in-law and TV buddy of Helen Hammer. Fun-loving and entertaining brother and brother-in-law of John and Judy Schneider, Jayne and Don Brubacher, Kathy and Lew Bauman, Morgan Davies, and Martyn Davies. With memories that make them smile, Tim known as "Uncle Weird", will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, Andrew, James (Laura), Brad (Monika); Lori (Ryan), Kevin (Jacqui); Josh, Jake (Carly) and eight great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Harry D. and Grace (Woods) Schneider, father-in-law Harry Hammer, and sister-in-law Linda Evans. Tim's full life began on the cherished family farm on Benjamin Road. His creative talents shone through in theatre, music, home design, and his career in advertising. Tim was a jack of all trades, and no task was too big for him. His passions were many and included his home and family. His humour charmed everyone. At Tim's request, cremation has taken place. In celebration of Tim's interesting life, relatives and friends are invited to the Dreisinger Funeral Home, 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. for a time of sharing lighthearted stories, refreshments /Tim Hortons coffee, and a prayer. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Osteogenesis Imperfecta Society or Pet Patrol would be appreciated by the family.
