    Funeral services were held on Friday, April 9 in Didsbury United Missionary Church at 2 p.m. for Eliud Cressman of Hillcrest, who died Tuesday, April 6 in Crows Nest Pass hospital after a lengthy illness. Rev. Ray Shantz officiated at the service and Mrs. Lydia Suder sang a solo, "Some Day the Silver Cord Will Break." Interment was in Didsbury cemetery with Didsbury Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Cressman was born near Baden, Ont., in June 1894. He came to Alberta with his parents over 50 years ago. They resided near Carstairs and later moved to Didsbury where he worked for many years. He later moved to Hillcrest. Surviving are his wife, Mary, and one son Grey; two brothers and two sisters and a large number of nieces and nephews.
