    ROTH, Curtis L. On Tuesday. May 25, 1993, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Curtis Roth, of New Hamburg.

    He was born in East Zorra township 73 years ago, a son of the late Simon and Selma (Lichty) Roth. He was a member of the Steinmann Mennonite Church, RR 2, Baden and had owned and operated C.L. Roth Transport for a number of years and latterly worked at Erb Transport. New Hamburg. He was a member of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fel- lowship, Stratford Chapter; a member of Truck Stop Evangelism, Woodstock and had formerly been a councillor and mayor of New Hamburg for a number of years.

    Beloved husband of Pearl Mary Brenneman, whom he married. March 5, 1941. Lovingly remembered by one son. Richard and his wife Gloria of RR 1, Milverton; one daughter, Judy and her husband Ken Barker of RR 4. Woodstock. Ever remembered by three grandchildren, Nancy and Ken Riegert, Spencer and Fraser Roth and one great-grandson, Adam Riegert. Dear brother of Howard and his wife Helen of Fergus and Marjorie and her husband Edgar Minke of White Rock, B.C.

    Curtis was predeceased by one daughter, Carol.

    Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, today (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 1993 at noon, transfer will be made to Steinmann Mennonite Church for the service at 2 p.m.. with Pastor Fred Lichty officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.

    ROTH, Howard Glenn - Peacefully, at the Freeport Health Centre, on Sunday, February, 12, 2006. Howard Roth, in his 83rd year, was the beloved husband of Helen (Neeb) Roth of Kitchener. Loved father of Penny and her husband Richard Roth of Waterloo, Randy Roth of Calgary, and Tim Roth and his wife Alicja of Kitchener. Loved grandfather, of Scott and his wife Dr. Kathryn Roth, Alexander Bak and his wife Tammy, and Barbara Bak. Great-Grandfather of Danielle Bak. Dear brother of Marjorie Minke and her husband Edgar of White Rock, B.C., and brother-in-law of Pearl Roth of New Hamburg. Predeceased by his parents Simon and Selma Roth, a brother Curtis and daughter-in-law Joy Roth. Fondly remembered, by his nieces and nephews. Howard operated Howard Roth Transport from 1946 - 1952, President and General Manager of Morrison Motors Ltd. From 1952 until he retired in 1981. In his retirement years, Howard and Helen wintered in Florida for over 12 years. Howard was on the board at the Grandview Public Board of Education for 10 years, was a Past President of the New Hamburg Board of Trade, and chairman for 3 years on Trinity Lutheran Church council. Howard was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church, Kitchener. Howards family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 749-8467. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. The Rev. Neil C. Thomsen officiating. Cremation to follow. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo, at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Freeport Palliative Care Unit or Reformation Lutheran Church would be appreciated by the family.     Roth, Carol Fern, daughter of Curtis L. and Pearl (Brenneman) Roth, was born July 23, 1943; died of cancer at the home of her parents, on March 20, 1962; aged 18 y. 7 m. 28 d. Surviving, besides her parents, are one brother (Richard), one sister (Judy), her grandparents (Mr. and Mrs. Simon Roth, New Hamburg, and Mrs. Lily Brenneman, Kitchener), and one great-grandmother. She was a member of the Steinman Church, where funeral services were held on March 23, in charge of Orland Gingerich and Elmer Schwartzentruber.
