Edward E. Dietrich

Seized with a heart attack while cutting willows at the corner of Peppler and Erb streets, Waterloo, Tuesday afternoon, Edward E. Dietrich, 70, died shortly after. He was removed to his home, 32 Princess street. Mr. Dietrich was born at Dashwood. He was a former employee of the Globe Furniture Company. Deceased attended St. Louis RC church and was a member of the Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, a son, Michael of Albany, N.Y., a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Winkler of Waterloo, a brother, Henry Dietrich of St. Clements and four sisters, Miss Mary Dietrich and Mrs. Henry Hergott, both of St. Clements, Mrs. David Kuntz and Mrs. Alex Stumpf of Waterloo. The funeral will be held at St. Louis RC church, Waterloo, Friday morning at 9 o'clock. Burial will be made at Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery.

WESTFALL, Dora May (Winkler) - On Friday, Nov. 6, 1981, at her residence, 300 Regina St. N., Waterloo, aged 74 years.

Born in Elmira, she was a member of St. Michael's RC Church, Waterloo.

Daughter of the late John and Helena Klein. Predeceased by her adoptive parents, Edward and Veronica Dietrich, predeceased by her first husband, Thomas Winkler. Wife of Charles Westfall; mother of Lorne Winkler and daughter-in-law Betty of Waterloo, June (Mrs. Herbert Flieger) of Lloydminster, Alta., Patricia Ann (Mrs. John Emslie) of Kitchener. Also Survived by a stepson, Rev. Charles Westfall of Brantford; four half brothers, Stanley, Roy and Donald Klein, all of Elmira and George Klein of Orillia, one half sister, Mrs. Dorothy Fewkes of New Hamburg, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Predeceased by one son, Gordon; one stepson, Earl; one sister, Edna; one half sister, Della and one grand-daughter, Kimberley Wunder.

Mrs. Westfall's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, after 7 p.m. this evening. The parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home Sunday at 8 p.m. Removal will be made at 1:30 p.m., Monday, to St. Michael's RC Church, Waterloo, for funeral mass at 2 p.m., Rev. Charles Westfall, CR officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodland cemetery mausoleum.
