    BAILEY, HUGH JAMES

    Funeral service for Mr. Bailey, who died Sunday, April 9, 1972, at St. Joseph's Hospital, in his 77th year, was conducted Wednesday at 2 at the Wall Chapel of the Lee and Custance Funeral Home in Guelph. Born in Elderslie Township on Sept. 23, 1895, he moved to Beverley Township in 1904. Following that, he lived in Morriston for forty-two years and Guelph for ten years. A painter by trade, he operated his own business and attended St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Marjorie Clark, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert G. Bailey of Galt; John W. Bailey of Guelph; and a sister, Hattie (Mrs. J. A. Wilkinson), also of Guelph. Rev. R. Forbes Thomson officiated at the service and burial was in Crown Cemetery, Puslinch. Pallbearers were all nephews, George Bailey, Keith Bailey, Jack Bailey, Donald Stewart, Bob Gray and Ian McLean.

Buried in Mount View Cemetery in Galt. Born in Eramosa Twp. on Apr. 5, 1854. Informant - John A. Wilkinson of Morriston, his son-in-law. Son of George and Mary Bailey. Married on Apr. 19, 1883 to Catherine Williamson, daughter of Robert and Catherine Williamson of North Dumfries.

    BAILEY, George Donald - Peacefully at the Golden Years Nursing Home, Cambridge, on Sunday, March 10, 1996, Mr. George Donald Bailey in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Anna Bailey and dear father of Paul and his wife Janice of Flamborough, Alan, Laura Bailey and her husband Brian Sugg, all of RR 6 Cambridge and of Jessie and her husband James Wilmer of Durham. Mr. Bailey is survived by his sisters Helen Patterson of Preston and Molly Hines and her husband Robert of Oakville. He will be sadly missed by his 6 grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Keith and John. A memorial Service will be held for Mr. Bailey at the Corbett Funeral Home Chapel, 95 Dundas St., Cambridge on Tuesday March 12, 1996 at 1: 30 pm, Reverend Joh Woelfle officiating. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

    BAILEY, Paul George Peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday, July 7, 2018 in his 67th year, with his beloved wife of 42 years, Janice (nee Toy) by his side. Paul was born and raised in the Cambridge (Galt) area. Paul and Janice made the home of his maternal grandparents, Lew and Jean Purdy in Flamborough (near Sheffield) their home. Predeceased by his parents George and Anna (nee Purdy) Bailey. He will be deeply missed by his brother Alan of Cambridge, sisters Laura Bailey and her husband Brian Sugg of Cambridge, and Jessie and her husband Jamie Willmer of Durham, his brother-in-law Art and his wife Anne Toy of London as well as his nieces, nephews and friends at his second home, the golf course at the Galt Country Club. At Paul's request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of C orbett Funeral Home , 95 Dundas St. N., Cambridge, on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 3:30 p.m., with the family receiving guests one hour prior. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Lisaard House would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Alan is survived by sisters Laura Bailey and husband Brian Sugg; and their children, Nathan Sugg, Jason Sugg, Jessica Sugg and her husband David Pettit, Jessie and husband Jamie Wilmer; and their children, Emily and her husband Brett Scherer, Rebecca Wilmer and her husband Daniel St. Martin and Eric Wilmer. Sister-in-law Janice Bailey, many cousins and friends. Predeceased by parents George and Anna (Purdy) Bailey and brother Paul Bailey. Alan was a truck driver most of his life. A Private family service will be held at Mountview Cemetery, Cambridge. Donations to Lisaard House or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
