    Mrs. Guy Mcmillan

    Mrs. Guy McMillan of Nithburg died Sunday at K-W Hospital, Kitchener, after a lengthy illness. She was 74.

    The former Elizabeth Birmingham, she was born April 25, 1894 in Wellesley Township, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael Birmingham and had been a lifelong resident of the Wellesley area. She was a Roman Catholic.

    Her husband predeceased her in 1943. Surviving are six sons, Glaister, Norwich; Reginald and Guy, both of RR 2, Wellesley; Floyd, Woodstock; Jerry, Kitchener, and Ronald, Oakville; one daughter, Mrs. Willard (Marie) Fink, RR 4, Atwood; two brothers, Thomas, Millbank, and Edward, Flint, Mich.; two sisters, Mary Birmingham, Stratford, and Mrs. John (Margaret) Faulhafer, RR 2, Wellesley; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, two daughters, four brothers and one sister.

He was born in Wellesley township 86 years ago. Son of the late Guy McMillan and the late Elizabeth Birmingham. He attended St. Clement RC Church and was a Record driver for many years. Dear brother of Glaister (Tiny) and his wife Marie McMillan of Norwich, Floyd McMillan of Woodstock, Ronald and his wife Peggy McMillan of RR 2, Alma and Jerry and his wife Diane McMillan of Kitchener.Predeceased by a sister, Marie and two brothers, Rex and Guy.Visitation at the Futher Bros. @Funeral Home, 1172 Henry St., Wellesley, where family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Vigil service Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. Prayers will be offered on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 10:15 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clement RC Church in St. Clements at 11 a.m. Father Robert Hetu will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Clement RC Cemetery. Memorials to St. Clement RC Church Maintenance Fund or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

    Funeral services were held at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira. In- terment followed in the Elmira Union cemetery.

Family and friends will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer Street, Milverton, Ontario on Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Mapleview Mennonite Cemetery, Wellesley Township. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Humane Society or the Arthritis Society.
