    BRUBACHER, Abner S. - Gone to be with Jesus, whom he loved and served, May 4, 2003, at Groves Memorial Community Hospital, in Fergus, in his 77th year, of RR 1, Fergus.Dear husband of Marie (nee Reesor) Brubacher. Loving father of Pauline (Doug) Musselman of Kitchener, Janet (Morley) Bauman of Haiti, Linda Brubacher of Victoria, Lori (Kyle) Barber of Stouffville, Ron (Karen) Brubacher, Sheila Brubacher of Elora and Jeff (Jen) Brubacher of Conneticut and 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Brother to Vera Wideman, Jean Brubacher, Robert Bauman, Lena (Earl) Martin and Landis (Violet) Brubacher.Predeceased by his parents, George and Elvina Brubacher; sister, Esther; brother-in-law, Abner; children, Lucille and Carl and grandson, Owen.His faith, family, farming and friends were his passions in life.Family and friends may call at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David St. S., Fergus from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2003. Burial service at Bethel Mennonite Church at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 8 for family followed by a memorial service the same day at the Central Penticostal Church, 7674 Colborne St., Elora at 2 p.m.As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee or charity of one's choice.     Darell Bauman, two-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bauman, RR 2, Elmira, died Jan. 2, at his home.

    He was born Oct. 13, 1961, at K-W Hospital.

    Surviving are his parents; one brother, Larry, 5; one sister, Rosanne, 4; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Brubacher, RR 2, Elmira, and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bauman, RR 3, Waterloo.

    One sister predeceased him.

    The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until Saturday. A service was held at his home at 1: 30 p.m., followed by a service at the West Montrose Mennonite Meeting House and burial in the adjoining cemetery.
