    Brubacher - Malinda, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Good, was born Nov. 20, 1884, at New Hamburg, Ont.; died July 8, 1933, near Heidelberg, Ont.; aged 48 y. 7 m. 18 d. On March 8, 1911, she was married to Simon M. Brubacher. This union was blessed with 4 children: Wilbert, Beulah (died in infancy), Anna, and Leonard. She had failed in health for some time, but patiently bore it all without complaint. She united with the Mennoite Church in early youth and remained a faithful member till death. She was of a quiet disposition and will be missed by all who knew her.

    Funeral services July 11 at St. Jacobs Mennonite Church conducted by Oliver Snider and C.F. Derstine.

    Mrs. Simon Brubacher.

    There passed away on Saturday afternoon Mrs. Simon Brubacher in her 49th year. She was ailing since February. She was taken seriously ill only a few days with a heart attack which was the immediate cause of death.

    Besides her husband she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Good of New Hamburg, two sons, Wilbert and Leonard and one daughter Anna, all at home. Four brothers Amos, Jonas, Joseph and Moses, all of Wilmot township and three sisters, Lizzie, Mrs. Ezra Baer, Wilmot township, Anna, Mrs. Angus Eby, Drake, Sask., Elmeda, Mrs. Angus Gingrich North Woolwich, also survive. One daughter predeceased her in infancy.

    The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon with private services at her late home, two miles east of Heidelberg and thence to St. Jacobs Mennonite Church for public services, followed by interment in Martin's cemetery.

    Brubacher.- Wilbert, son of Simon and Melinda (Good) Brubacher, was born in Woolwich Twp., June 4, 1913; died at his home near Waterloo, Ont, Apr. 22, 1968; aged 54 y. 10 m. 18 d. In September 1937, he was married to Hettie Wideman, who survives. Also surviving are 3 sons and 3 daughters (Glenn, Lorene-Mrs. Edward Snider, Elverne, Grace Mrs. Richard Rodriguez, Marvin, and Adel), his father, one sister (Mrs. Anna Shantz), and one brother (Leonard). He was a member of the St. Jacobs Church, where funeral services were held Apr. 24, with Glenn Brubacher officiating

    Funeral service for Wilbert Brubacher RR1, Waterloo Who died at his home April 22, via s held April 24 At St, Jacobs Mennonite Church. Rev. Glenn Brubacher officiated. Burial was in St. Jacobs Mennonite cemetery.

    Mr. Brubacher, 54, was born at RR 1, Waterloo, a son of Simon Brubacher of Preston and the late Mrs. Brubacher, He was a member of St. Jacobs Mennonite Church.

    Besides his father, he is survived by his wife, the former Hetti Wideman; three sons, Glen of RR I, Waterloo, Elverne of Waterford and Marvin of Toronto three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Lorene) Snider of RR I, St. Jacobs, Mrs. Richard (Grace) Rodriquez of Vancouver and Miss Adell Brubacher at home; a brother Leonard Brubacher of RR 1, Elora; a sister, Mrs. Anna Shantz of RR 1, Waterloo; and four grandchildren.

    The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor, Elmira, until April 24, when removal was made to the church.

    Brubacher. - Beulah G., only daughter of Simon and Melinda Brubacher, was born Nov. 19, 1915; died Feb. 6, 1915;* aged 2 m. 18 d. She was sick only a few days, and passed away almost before her condition was thought to be serious. Funeral services were conducted at the Martin Mennonite Church by E. S. Bauman in German, from Mark 10: 13-16, and Noah Hunsberger in English from Job 14: 1,2. Interment in adjoining cemetery. God needed one more angel child, Amidst His shining band, And so He bent with loving smile, And clasped our darling's hand.

    BRUBACHER, Glen D. - Peacefully, on Tuesday, November 16, 2004, at his home in St. Jacobs, Glen David Brubacher, in his 67th year.Loving brother of Lorene Snider of St. Jacobs. Elverne and Faythe Brubacher of Beamsville, Grace and Rick Rodriguez of Courtney B.C., Barb Brubacher of Langley B.C., Adele and Larry Shearer of Mississauga. Also fondly remembered by a number of nieces and nephews and their families. Dear friend of Emily Hunsberger of Waterloo.Predeceased by his parents, Wilbert and Hettie (Wideman) Brubacher; one brother, Marvin ""Merch"" Brubacher (2004) and one brother-in-law, Eddie Snider (1997).At Glen's request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira for memorial visitation on Friday, Nov. 19 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at the St. Jacobs Mennonite Church on Saturday, November 20 at 11 a.m.In his memory, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - 8th Floor Oncology Dept. or Mennonite Central Committee would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.

    BRUBACHER: Marvin, James (Merch) with deepest regret, died suddenly on August 11, 2004 at 57. Merch will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife and best friend Barb (Weichel), daughters Heather and Robyn (son-in-law John Brett and family). Also leaves five brothers and sisters, Glen (and friend Emily), Elverne (Faith), Grace (Rick) Rodriguez of B.C., Lorne Snider, Adele (Larry). Predeceased by his father Wilbert and mother Hettie, father-in-law Donald Weichel, brother-in-law Ed Snider all of Ontario, and numerous friends and relatives. A commemoration of Merch's life was held at the Langley Legion, Monday August 16, 2004. Cremation has taken place. Family would appreciate donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1-888-473-4636, M-F, 8-5, in lieu of flowers. Somehow life will have to go on, but he will be missed beyond words.
