Mother of John of RR 1, Wallenstein and Mrs. Mary Huot of RR 1, Lucan, Lydia and Nancy, both of RR 1, Linwood; dear sister of Solomon Wagler of Gordonville, Penn., Jonas Wagler of New Hamburg, Lydia (Mrs. Nick Schmidt) of Newton, Mrs. Dorothy Steckley of Route 2, At wood, and Veronica (Mrs. Dan Albrecht) of RR 1, Newton. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Schmidt, November 17, 1969, and also by two brothers.
Visitation at the family residence where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, Feb. 23, 1981 at 1 p.m., Bishop Amos Albrecht officiating. Interment will follow in the 7th line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Wellesley Township.

Wagler, Jonas \endash On Friday, Feb. 18, 1994, at his residence, Nithview Home, New Hamburg, Jonas Wagler, formerly of New Hamburg and Parkhill.
He was born in Wellesley township 84 years ago, a son of the late John and Lydia (Brenneman) Wagler. He was a member of Steinmann Mennonite Church, RR 2, Baden. Jonas and his late wife, Laura had been involved in Prison Ministries and was a member and supporter of Truck Stop Evangelism Ministries. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors as his hobbies.
Beloved husband of Laura Wagler who predeceased him February 22, 1993.Loving father of Myrtle and her husband Robert Davies of London, Elaine and her husband Abe Stouffer of Woodville, Delores and her husband Daniel Euler, MaryLou and her husband Claude Phaneuf, all of Morinville, Alta. Sadly missed by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Solomon Wagler of Gordonville, Pa.; one sister, Veronica (Mrs. Daniel Albrecht) of RR 1, Newton. Jonas will fondly be remembered by a number of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He was predeceased by two brothers, Daniel and William in infancy; three sisters, Alif (Mrs. Joseph Schmidt), Lydia (Mrs. Nick Schmidt) and Dorothy ( Mrs. Samuel Steckly).

Died on Thursday, March 31, at her residence, Lot 9, Concession 9, Mornington township.
She was born in Mornington township 50 years ago and was the beloved daughter of Solomon Wagler of Pennsylvania and the late Fannie Kuepfer. Cora always had a strong and abiding desire to serve her Creator and Saviour.
Lovingly remembered by her husband, Noah S. Keupfer and her son Mervin, at home. Sadly missed by her six brothers, Aaron of Newton, Jacob of Stratford, Elam of Brunner, Solomon Jr., Menno and Joel, all of RR 1, Newton and four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Wagler of Waterloo, Lydia (Mrs. David Kuepfer) and Mrs. Dorothy Kuepfer, both of RR 1, Millbank, Cathereine (Mrs. Ezra Kuepfer) of RR 4, Listowel. She was predeceased by one brother Enos.
Friends and relatives may call at the family residence, Lot 9, Concession 9, Mornington township, until today (Saturday, April 2, 1983), where service will be held at 2 p.m. with William Carter officiating. Interment to follow in the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Mornington township.

They resided at RR 1, Linwood. Aaron was born 67 years ago in Wellesley township and was the son of the late Sam. S. Kuepfer and the former Lydia Schwartz. Muriel was born 62 years ago in Mornington township and was the daughter of the late Daniel R. Albrecht. Both were members of the old Order Amish Faith. Aaron and Muriel were married November 25, 1954.
Loving parents of Kathleen and her husband John J. Kuepfer of RR 1, Newton, Paul and his wife Mary Kuepfer, Laureen and her husband Peter K. Kuepfer, all of RR 1 Millbank, Bertha and her husband Peter S. Kuepfer of RR 1 Newton, Elsie and her husband David Ebersol of RR 2, Milverton, Irma and her husband Lloyd Zehr of RR 1, Linwood, Perry and his friend Judy Albrecht, at home, Veronica and her husband Mosie Kuepfer of RR 1, Linwood. Sadly missed by their 26 grandchildren. Also missed by Muriel's mother, Veronica (nee Wagler) Albrecht of RR 1, Newton. Also remembered by Aaron's family, Sarah and her husband David N. Jantzi of RR 1, Milverton, Katie and her husband Menno Wagler of RR 1, Newton, Elizabeth and her husband Joe K. Zehr of RR 4, Alymer and Muriel's family Sarah and her husband Sam Kuepfer, Esther and her husband Ken Kuepfer of RR 1, Almeda and her husband Harold Kuepfer , all of RR 1, Newton, Kathleen and her husband John R. Kuepfer of RR 1, Atwood. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Dorothy Kipfer of Milverton.
They were predeceased by a daughter, Lavina in infancy; a grandson, Murray Kuepfer; Aaron's brother, David S. Kuepfer and Muriel's sister in infancy.
Family and friends may call at the family residence, Lot 18, Concession 9 of Mornington township until Tuesday, Dec. 10, 1996 when the service will take place at the house at 12:30 p.m., with Bishop Joe A. Kuepfer officiating. Burial to follow in the 7th Line Amish Cemetery, Wellesley township.

KUEPFER, Mervin Laverne - Peacefully on Monday, January 26, 2009 at St Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, Mervin Kuepfer of Kitchener. He was born in Listowel, 52 years ago a son of the late, Noah and Cora (Wagler) Kuepfer. Mervin was formerly of RR 4, Listowel, Stratford and Elmira where he worked at ARC Industries. He had attended the Morningview Amish Mennonite Church, RR 1, Newton. Lovingly remembered by a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. Mervin was also predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Solomon and Fannie Wagler; his paternal grandparents, Amos and Mary Kuepfer. Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , 7 Spencer St., Milverton, today, Wednesday, January 28, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. On Thursday, January 29, 2009 a family service will be held at 12 noon followed by the funeral service at Morningview Amish Mennonite Church at 1 p.m. with Bishop Ken Kuepfer officiating. Burial to follow in the adjoining church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to Forest Heights Long Term Care, Kitchener.
