    Lebold, Samuel, son of Daniel and Catherine (Streicher) Lebold, was born near Wellesley, Ont., Nov. 1, 1904; died at University Hospital, London, Ont., July 10, 1976; aged 71 y, On Nov. 3, 1927, he was married to Emma Bast, who survives. Also surviving are one son (Howard), 3 daughters (Mary Ellen - Mrs. Glen Zehr, Catherine - Mrs. Kenneth Roth, and Ruth Ann - Mrs. Donald Pugh), 14 grandchildren, and 5 sisters (Nancy - Mrs. David L. Erb, Beana - Mrs. Elmer Steinman, Katie - Mrs. Chris Albrecht, Edna - Mrs. Norman Zehr, and Emma - Mrs. Ervin Erb). He was preceded in death by one daughter, 4 brothers, and one sister. He was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held July 12, in charge of Alvin Leis and Jacob Roes; interment in adjoining cemetery.

    LEBOLD, Samuel

    Of Milverton, passed away following a brief illness, on Saturday, July 10, 1976, at University Hospital, London, Ont. He was in his 72nd year, Sam Lebold, son of the late Samuel Lebold and Katherine Streicher.

    He had farmed at lot 8 concession 3 of Mornington Township. After retiring from the farm he worked at Blackstone Industrial Products Ltd., Stratford for a number of years.

    Surviving besides his wife, the former Emma Bast, are one son, Howard of 180 Charles St., Stratford and three daughters, Mrs. Glenn (Maryellen) Zehr of Route 7, Woodstock, Mrs. Kenneth (Katherine) Roth of Tavistock and Mrs. Donald (Ruthann) Pugh of Route 1, Milverton; also surviving are 14 grandchildren and five sisters.

    Resting at the Heubner Funeral Home, 9 Pacific Ave., Milverton until Monday noon (today) when removal was made to Mapleview Mennonite Church for a 2:30 p.m. funeral service. Interment Mapleview Church cemetery.

    Samuel married Emma Bast 3 Nov 1927. Emma (daughter of Andrew Bast and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Schultz) was born 1 Jan 1907, Wellesley Twp., Waterloo Region, Ontario, Canada; died 26 Jan 2001; was buried , Mapleview Mennonite Cemetery, Wellesley Twp., Ontario, Canada. [Group Sheet]
