ESCH, Arthur Daniel

At St. Mary's Hospital, on Sunday, April 24, 1988, following a brief illness, Arthur Esch, of 10 Appalachian Cres., Kitchener, age 91 years. Mr. Esch farmed for many years, before his employment at Morval-Durofoam Limited, where he retired in 1967. He served with the Canadian Forces in the First World War. He was a member of Forest View Pentecostal Assembly. Beloved husband of Eva and loving father of Edward and his wife Grace and Mabel Parsons, all of Kitchener and step-father of Wilma Wiebe of Niagara Falls; brother of Elsie Hahn, Vera Puderer, Velma Strong, Walter, Ken and Jim. Also sadly missed by nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents; his first wife, Lucinda Martin; two brothers, Edgar and Norman and five sisters, Selma, Jane, Beulah, Ruby and Pearl. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621, King St. W., Kitchener, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Bill Lavender officiating. Interment Union cemetery, Elmira.

PARSONS, Brent Passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital, at the age of 62. Beloved husband of Sharon. Loving father of Scott (Angela) and Kirk (Tenesha). Cherished papa of Makayla, Liam and Jasmyn. Dear son of Mabel and dear brother of Muriel, Marty (Claire), Marilyn, Dale and Wayne. Survived by sister-in-law Marg and Carol. Predeceased by his father Harrison and brother Rev. Brent was a life-time employee at Lear Seating. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, bowling and wood working. Brent's family will receive relatives and friends from 1 p.m.-3:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, immediately following the visitation, at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Health Sciences Centre, St. Mary's Hospital - Cardiac Care Centre or St. James Lutheran Church, Mannheim would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
