MARTIN, Doug - As the result of a snowmobile accident near Heidelberg, on Saturday, Feb. 27, 1993, age 23 years, of Waterloo. Doug was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, St. Jacobs, had been an active participant in minor sports, had attended Elmira District Secondary school and was employed by Devlugt Construction Ltd. of Tavistock. Beloved son of the Margaret (Peggy) Feldpusch and Gerald S. Martin; dear father of Samantha and loving brother of Sheri Martin-Soosaar and her husband Rob of Waterloo. Doug is also lovingly remembered by his grandmothers, Irene Martin of St. Jacobs, and Velma Feldpusch of Waterloo; his aunts, uncles, cousins and many close friends. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, Alfred C. Martin and Herman Feldpusch. Doug's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. The funeral service will be held at St. James Lutheran Church in St. Jacobs on Wednesday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Everett Mossman officiating. Interment in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Elmira.
