    Erb.- Michael B., son of Menno L. and Annie (Boshart) Erb, was born in Wilmot Twp., Ont., Sept. 19, 1901; died at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., Oct. 20, 1987; aged 86 y. On Dec. 11, 1924, he was married to Mary Bast, who survives. Also surviving are 4 sons (Nelson, Lorne, Elmer, and Lloyd), 6 daughters (Anna Mae Gascho, Lorene Shantz, Norma Zehr, Eileen Lebold, Florence Gascho, and Eva McKinnon), 32 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, one brother (Aaron), and one sister (Fanny Jantzi). He was preceded in death by one daughter (Edna, in infancy), one granddaughter, and 3 brothers (Eli, Ezra, and Sam). He was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Oct. 23, in charge of Glenn Zehr and David K. Jantzi; interment in Riverdale Cemetery.

    ERB, Michael B. - On Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1987, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Michael Erb, of 6 James St., Milverton.

    He had farmed near Millbank prior to his retirement and was born in Wilmot township, 88 years ago, a son of the late Menno L. Erb and the former Annie Boshart. He was a member of Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank and a member of the Milverton Senior Citizens. Beloved husband of the former Mary Bast, whom he married December 11, 1924. Lovingly remembered by his children. Nelson and his wife Leona of Millbank, Anna Mae ,and her husband Allen Gascho of Newton, Lorne and his wife Ruby of RR 1 Milverton, Lorene and her husband Lowell Shantz of Hanover, Elmer and his wife Adeline of Millbank, Norma and her husband Harold Zehr of Attica, Mich., Eileen and her husband Ralph Lebold of Waterloo, Florence and her husband David Gascho of RR 1, Milverton, Eva and her friend Wes McKinnon of Mount Budges, Lloyd and his wife Laurene of Millbank; dear brother of Aaron of Lowville, N.Y. and Fanny Mrs. Ezra Jantzi) of Wellesley. Sadly missed by 32 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.

    Michael was predeceased by one daughter, Edna in infancy; one great-granddaughter, Joanna in infancy and three brothers, Eli, Ezra and Sam.

    Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 9 Pacific Ave., Milverton, after 7 p.m. this evening (Wednesday) and until Friday, Oct. 23 at noon, when transfer will be made to Riverdale Mennonite Church, Millbank, for the service at 2 o'clock p.m., with Rev. Glenn Zehr and Rev. David Jantzi officiating. interment in the church cemetery.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the CNIB or MCCC.

    ERB, Nelson Formerly of Millbank, passed away with his family by his side, at Hillside Manor, Sebringville on Friday, September 19, 2014, at the age of 87. Nelson was a former employee of Millbank Cheese and Butter for 40 years. Beloved husband of Leona (Steckly) Erb whom he married in 1953. Loving father of Anita Schultz, Gary and Karri, Judy and Jim Brenneman, Paul and Lisa. Special grandpa of Scott and Samantha, Carissa and Chad, Sarah and Jeff, Asha and Joel, Jeremy and Bev, Justin and Pam, Ryan and great- grandpa of Hannah, Olivia, Hudson, Brynn, Jayce, Hayden, Brysen and Quinn. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Anna Mae Gascho, Ruby Erb, Lorene and Lowell Shantz, Elmer and Adeline Erb, Norma and Harold Zehr, Eileen and Ralph Lebold, Florence and David Gascho, Lloyd and Laurene Erb, Katie Anne Helmuth, Irwin and Betty Steckly, and Nelda Yantzi-Kropf. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary (Bast) Erb, son-in-law Glenn Schultz, sisters Edna in infancy, Eva and her husband Wes McKinnon, brother Lorne, sister-in-law Eileen and her husband Elmer Kropf, brothers-in-law Allan Gascho and Glen Helmuth. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 141 John Street, Atwood (519-356-2382), on Monday, September 22 from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Nelson's life will be held at Poole Mennonite Church on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Dyck officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Predeceased by her husband Wes MacKinnon (2004). Dear mother of Colleen (Jeff) Closs of Highgate and Christine (Kevin) Crookshank of Mt. Brydges. Sadly missed by grandchildren, Candice, Kyle, Bronson, Rory, Kirstie and Alyssa. Survived by brothers and sisters, Nelson (Leona) Erb, Anna Mae Gascho, Lorene (Lowell) Shantz, Elmer (Adeline) Erb, Norma (Harold) Zehr, Eileen (Ralph) Lebold, Florence (Dave) Gascho and Lloyd (Laurene) Erb, as well as sister-in-law, Ruby Erb. Predeceased by her parents, Michael and Mary (Bast) Erb; brother, Lorne Erb and brother-in-law, Allan Gascho. Also survived by step-children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Brydges (519-264-1100) on Monday, December 10th, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service and committal to follow on Tuesday from the funeral home commencing at 11 a.m. Interment of ashes Mount Brydges Cemetery at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
