    Funeral service was held Monday in Maryhill for Clara Zettel, of MU West Montrose. She died November 28, 1986, at Komoka Nursing Home. She was 81.

    She was the wife of John G. Moyer; mother of Helen and Mary Moyer, both of Kitchener, Dorothy and Wilfred Moyer, both of RRI West Montrose, Elmer Moyer, of Cambridge, Harvey Moyer, of Guelph; sister of Lawrence Zettel, of RR1 Breslau, and Alma (Mrs. Don Moseley), of Guelph; predeceased by three sons, Herman, Donald and Lorne Moyer, three brothers and two sisters.

    Burial was in St. Boniface Roman Catholic cemetery, Maryhill.

    Lorne J. Moyer of RR I, West Montrose, died Feb. 15 at his home, He was 32,

    Born Oct. 16, 1935, in Woolwich Township, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John G. Moyer, RR 1, West Montrose. He lived near West Montrose all his life and was employed in the construction industry.

    He was a member of St. Boniface RC Church, Maryhill.

    Besides his parents, he is survived by five brothers, Elmer of Kitchener, Herman of Hespeler, Harvey of Guelph, Donald of Winnipeg and Wilfrid of RR 1, West Montrose; three sisters, Helen of Kitchener and Dorothy and Mary of RR 1, West Montrose.

    The body was at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, Kitchener, where the rosary was recited Sunday.

    Prayers were said at the funeral home Monday after which removal was made to St. Boniface Church, for high mass conducted by Rev. John Lawless. Burial was in the Mayhill cemetery.

    Obituary for Dorothy Mary Magdelene Moyer (Moyer)

    Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 24th, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital, in her 76th year. Dorothy was born, raised and spent most of her life at RR # 1 West Montrose. Dear sister-in-law of Kathleen Moyer of Kitchener and is survived also by her nephew James and nieces Donna, Marlene, Jean, Shirley, Susan, Karen and several great nieces and nephews.

    Dorothy was the last surviving child of John and Clara (nee Zettel) Moyer. Predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Elmer, Harvey, Herman, Wilfred, Joseph, Donald, Lorne and sisters, Mary and Helen, a sister-in-law Evelyn Moyer and niece Catherine Berg.
    Dorothy's family will receive relatives and friends from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm on Thursday, April 25, 2013 and Friday from 2:00 - 2:45 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Liturgy of The Word service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday at the Henry Walser Funeral Home. Immediately followed by a reception at the funeral home. Interment St. Boniface RC Cemetery, Maryhill.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
