CAPLING, Matilda A. Peacefully, on August 16, 1999, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Matilda Capling, of New Hamburg and formerly of RR 1, New Hamburg.

Matilda was born in North Easthope township. 93 years ago, a daughter of the late George A. and Mary (Mohr) Falk. She was a member of Zion United Church, New Hamburg, where she was a member of the UCW. Matilda was also a member of the New Hamburg Women's Institute and the Haysville Sunshine Club.

Beloved wife of the late Harry J. Capling who predeceased her in 1988. Loving mother of Marjorie and her husband Stan Riehl of Gadshill and Jean Schmidt of Gadshill. Sadly missed by seven grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren. Also remembered by a sister, Florence and her husband Harvey Becker of New Hamburg.

Matilda was predeceased by a son-in- law, Howard Schmidt (1999); a grand- daughter, Jane Riehl (1999) and a brother, Clayton and his wife Louisa Falk and by sisters, Ella and John Ehnes, Viola and Elmore Heldman. Victoria and Alvin Milbrandt, Mildred and Herb Koch and Idella and Floyd Myers.

Friends and relatives may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg, this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m., again Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 19, 1999 at Zion United Church, New Hamburg at 2 p.m., with Pastor Bob Thaler officiat- ing. Interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.
