HASENPFLUG, Catherine (nee Zehr) With family at her side Catherine went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 23, 2012, at the age of 75. Beloved wife of the late F. Edward Hasenpflug (1996). Loving mother of Ann Bisch (Michael Shapcott), Heather Wombwell, Ed (Butch) Hasenpflug (Louise). Dear Grandma to Arlen, Andrea, Zachary Hasenpflug; Katherine Wombwell; and Nicole and Malcolm Shapcott Ramsay. Catherine will also be missed by her best friend and constant companion Cordelia. Dear sister-in-law of Gerda Zehr, Elaine Zehr, Laurel and Menno Martin, Mary Hasenpflug, and Esther Temple (Herbie) and their families. Predeceased by her parents Peter R. and MaryAnn Zehr and brothers Harley, Horace and Elwood.

Catherine's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012 in the chapel of the funeral home followed by a reception. Pastor James Koellner officiating.

Following the reception interment will take place at St. James Lutheran Cemetery, St. Jacobs.
