    DREISINGER, Mr. Jacob At the K-W Hospital Kitchener, on Saturday Oct. 24,1981, Jacob S. Dreisinger , aged 75 years, of 68 Union Blvd., Kitchener. Mr: Dreisinger was born in Elmira and was a son of the late Jacob Dreisinger and the former Jane Shoemaker. He was a retired owner and operator of Dreisinger Construction; a member of Calvary United Church, Kitchener; a member of the Germania Lodge of Odd Fellows for 33 years and also of the Samaritan Encampment, Past District Deputy Grand Master, Past District Deputy Grand Patriarch and Past Grand Lodge Guardian.

    Survived by his wife, the former Bernice Scheifele; two sons, Donald J. of Waterloo and Ross S. of Kitchener and one daughter, Corean (Mrs. Carl Pleon) of Waterloo. Also survived by one sister, Mrs. Amelia Brubacher of Elmira, nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. He was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. Mr. Dreisinger's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good. Funeral Home, 171 King St: S., Waterloo, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and Tuesday. At noon on Wednesday, removal will be made to Calvary United Church, Kitchener, for the funeral service at (Wednesday), with Jean Kellerman officiating. Interment to follow in Parkview cemetery, Waterloo.

    PLEON, Corean Mae (nee Dreisinger) 1930 - 2014 Peacefully, surrounded by family, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Saturday, October 25, 2014, in her 85th year. Loving mom of Linda Nellis and husband David, Debbie Ernst and husband Tom, Cathy Antoniak and husband Doug, and Todd Pleon and wife Shelley. Grandma of eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Don Dreisinger and wife Eva and Ross Dreisinger and wife Edith. Predeceased by her husband, Carl Pleon and parents, Jacob and Bernice (nee Scheifele) Dreisinger. Corean was a resident of Luther Village on the Park, past member of the K-W Granite Club, former volunteer of the Ladies Auxiliary of K-W Hospital, and an avid bridge player. Corean's family will receive friends at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Wednesday, October 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. A reception will follow in the funeral home's Fireside Reception Room. Condolences for the family and memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, to the Grand River Hospital Foundation, the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation, or a charity of choice may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519-745-8445.     Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family at Sunnyside Home on May 15, 2022 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Edith (Wiese) for 65 years. Loving father of Christine (Manfred), Lori (Steve), Mark (Linda). Cherished Grampa to Dana (Robert), Josh (Kirstie), Matthew (Avery), Kara, Jordan, Brandon, Matthew (Andrea) and step-Grampa to Austin and Evan (Steph). Proud great-Grampa to Mackenzie, Jack and Dawson and step-great-Grampa to Leo and Zayne. Survived by his brother Don Dreisinger (Eva) and sister-in-law Donna Wiese. Pre-deceased by his parents Jacob and Bernice Dreisinger, sister Corean Pleon (Carl), brother-in-law Fred Wiese and sister-in-law Gerda Aram (Don).

    Ross had a successful career working in advertising at the KW Record for 39 years. He enjoyed many years of traveling with Edith, friends and family. Ross was a family man and his fondest memories were of family times at the cottage in Oliphant and their winter home in Florida. Ross was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Kitchener and St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Wiarton.

    Heartfelt thanks from the family to Three Bridges Sunnyside stafffor the compassionate care for Ross.

    Cremation has taken place. Ross's family will receive family and friends from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Wednesday May 18, 2022 at Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S, Waterloo. Personal face coverings are requested by the family. A private family graveside service will be held on May 19, 2022 at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

    In lieu of flowers, donations to Sunnyside Foundation or Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be greatly appreciated by the family.
