MAYMAN, Albert "Shorty" - Passed away suddenly, surrounded by his family, on Monday, December 18, 2006, at McMaster Hospital, at the age of 73 years. Shorty Mayman, special friend and partner for 38 years of Sandra Wakeford. Father to Darlene Brown and Dianna Somerton and her husband James. Proud Grandpa to Adam, David and his wife Jenn, Teri-Ann and Matthew and great-grandfather of Neleh. Albert is also survived by his sisters, Donna Schaefer and Mona Claydon. He is predeceased by his parents, Winnfred and James Mayman, brothers Joe and Ernie Mayman and sisters Sylvia Caskenette and Ivy Goddard. Mr. Mayman is at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Rd., Cambridge (519) 653-3251 where friends may call on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Friday morning at 11 o'clock with visitation for one hour prior to the service.
