    BRUDER, Albert C. -- On Friday, Sept. 4, 1981, at his residence, RR 1 West Montrose, following a brief illness, in his 75th year.

    Albert C. Bruder, beloved husband of the former Annetta Raitar; dear father of Mrs. Walter (Ann) Bolger and Mrs. Vincent (Grace) Kurtz, both of Ariss and Paul of RR 5 Guelph. One son, James predeceased him (1971). Lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by three brothers, Wilfred, Frank and Simon, all of Ariss and six sisters, Mrs. Minnie Magnus and Mrs. Katherine Halliburton, both of Guelph, Mrs. John (Tillie) Cober and Mrs. Jack (Edith) Cotterman, both of Hamilton, Mrs. Wilfred (Betty) Ellig and Mrs. James (Helen) Kurtz, both of Ariss.

    Albert, the eldest son of the late Charles Bruder and Ida Lehman, was born in Ariss, Ont., April 19, 1907, and until his retirement farmed in the Ariss- West Montrose district all his life. He was a member of St. Boniface RC Church, Maryhill. The Holy Name Society, and Branch Number 6024 of Knights of Columbus.

    Friends may call at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira after 7 p.m. today, until Monday morning for prayers at 9: 45 a.m.; then to St. Boniface RC Church, Maryhill for funeral mass at 10: 30 a.m., with Rev. Father William Sherlock officiating. Interment St. Boniface RC cemetery.

    Passed away with her family by her side at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. Grace Kurtz in her 82nd year was the beloved wife of Vincent Kurtz and the loved mother of Brian (Catherine) of Maryhill, Barry (Lisa), Brent (Regina), and Bruce (Karen) all of Guelph. She was the proud and loving grandmother of Scott, Stephen, Lauren, Brandon, Nicole, Megan, Nathan and Bailey. Survived by her sister Ann Bolger of Elora, and by her brother Paul (Marg) Bruder of Guelph, and by her sister-in-law Theresa Bruder of Guelph and by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Annetta Bruder and by her brother James and by her brother-in-law Walter Bolger.

    Grace was a member of St. Boniface Church, Maryhill, and a member of CWL, St. Boniface Church, Maryhill. She was a past member of Ponsonby Woman's Institute, Past member of Professional Secretaries International Assoc., Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario and member of the Insurance Institute of Ontario.

    Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive their friends on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Grace will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 2:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Boniface Church Maryhill, on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 10 a.m. A reception to follow at the Ariss Valley Golf and Country Club. Spring Interment in St Boniface Cemetery, Maryhill. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Boniface Church or to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.     James J. Bruder

    Funeral service was conducted Saturday at St. Boniface RC church, Maryhill, for James Joseph Bruder of RR1 West Montrose. He died last Tuesday at Toronto General hospital after a brief illness, at the age of 29.

    Rev. J. H. Lawless officiated. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.

    Born in West Montrose, January 16, 1942, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bruder. He was a fur farmer.

    Surviving besides his parents his wife, the former Therese Fried; one son, William, at home: one brother, Paul of West Montrose; two sisters, Mrs. Walter (Ann) Bolger and Mrs. Vincent (Grace) Kurtz of RR1 Ariss, and his paternal grand-mother, Mrs. Charles Bruder of Ariss.
