    Beaupre, Rosemary (nee Straus) - Passed away, after a valiant six year struggle with Amyloidosis, on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at KW Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 68. Beloved wife of Greg of Waterloo and loving mother and best friend of Heidi and her friend Brad. Loving sister of Shirley Waurechen (Stanley), Helene Steffler (Jerry), Robert Straus (Elizabeth), Gerald Straus (Betty), Peter Straus (Carol Ann), Paul Straus (Jo Anne) and Mike Straus (Sharon). Sister-in-law of Dolores Straus and Linda Straus. Rosemary will also be missed by her in-laws, Richard and Joanne Beaupre, Wayne and Gaye Beaupre; many nieces and nephews. Second mother to over 25 Siskin hockey players. Predeceased by her parents, Christian and Rose Straus; her brothers, Harold and Doug; sister, Elizabeth and in-laws, Lou and Ada Beaupre. A very special 'Thank You' to the 3rd floor nurses, Dr. Vitou, Dr. Raco, Dr. Maurice, Dr. MacEachen and all the guardian angels on the 7th floor Renal Section. Rosemary's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday from 7-9 pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener. Parish prayers 9 p.m. Wednesday evening. Prayers will be offered at 10: 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2009 in the chapel of the funeral home followed by procession to St. Clements R.C., 3629 Lobsinger Line, St. Clements for Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Fr. Robert Hetu officiating. Interment St. Clements Cemetery followed by a reception at the St. Clements Community Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations to Grand River Hospital Foundation - Renal Clinic or St. Clements Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
