Surviving are 3 sons (Mervin, Clarence, and Elton), 5 daughters (Barbara - Mrs. Elmer Roth, Idella - Mrs. Alvin Leis, Janet - Mrs. George Rush, Bernetta - Mrs. Ralph Ruby, and Mary Ellen - Mrs. Stephen Gingerich), 39 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one brother (Herbert), and 4 sisters (Sarah - Mrs. Noah Boshart, Lavina - Mrs. Moses Bast, Barbara - Mrs. Henry Gerth, and Emma - Mrs. Lorne Martin). She was preceded in death by one son (Earl), one daughter (Irene - Mrs. Menno Albrecht), one brother and 2 sisters. She was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Sept. 1, in charge of Vernon Zehr and Jacob Roes; interment in adjoining cemetery.

    Kropf, Mrs. John - Of 18 Queen St. W., Wellesley, passed away Sunday, August 29 at K-W Hospital. She was the former Mary Ann Lichti; born in St. Agatha 84 years ago, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Lichti; beloved mother of Mervin of Route 3, Wellesley, Clarence of Kitchener, Elton of Fort St. John, B.C., Idella (Mrs. Alvin Leis) of Route 1, Wellesley, Barbara (Mrs. Elmer Roth) of Waterloo, Janet (Mrs. George Rush) of Kitchener, Bernetta (Mrs. Ralph Ruby) of Chatham, Mary Ellen (Mrs. Steven Gingerich) of Zurich; sister of Herbert Lichti of Kitchener, Sarah (Mrs. Noah Boshart) of Batavia, N.Y., Lavina (Mrs. Moses Bast) and Barbara (Mrs. Henry Gerth), both of Kitchener, Emma (Mrs. Lorne Martin) of Wellesley; also survived by 39 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Was predeceased by her husband, John in 1974; also by one son, Earl and one daughter, Irene; one brother and two sisters. Friends may call at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley after 7p.m.m this evening. At noon Wednesday, September 1, the remains will be removed to Maple View Mennonite Church for the funeral service at 2: 30. Rev. Vernon Zehr and Rev. Jacob Roes will officiate. Internment will follow in the church cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be shown by contributions to the Western Ontario Mennonite Mission Board.

    MRS. WILLIAM SEYLER

    Mrs. William Seyler, 72, of 79 Church St., died Jan. 20 at K-W Hospital after a brief illness.

    Mrs. Seyler, the former Magdalene Lichty, was born Jan. 21, 1895 in Wilmot Township. A resident of Phillipsburg for many years, Mrs. Seyler lived in Kitchener for the past 12 years.

    She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg; the Lutheran Church Women, the Senior Citizens and Jolly Oldsters. Her husband died in 1955.

    Surviving are two sons, Edgar, RR 1, Wellesley; Wilfred, RR 2, Baden; two daughters, Mrs, Lloyd (Helen) Launtenschlager, Kitchener; Mrs. Elmer (Hilda) Hohl, RR 1, Wellesley; one brother, Herbert; five sisters, Mrs. John (Marlon) Kropf, Wellesley; Mrs.Moses (Lavina) Bast, Shakespeare; Mrs. Noah (Sarah) Boshart, Batavia, N.Y.; Mrs. Lome (Emma) Martin, Wellesley; Mrs. Henry (Barbara) Gerth, Kitchener; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

    The service was held Tuesday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. E. A. Feiker officiating, and burial followed in the church cemetery. The Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home was in charge.

He was a member of Stirling Avenue Mennonite church, had been employed at Robson Lang Leathers Limited, until his retirement and was a member of their 25 Year Club. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. this evening. Funeral and committal service in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, on Saturday at 2 p.m. Rev. William Kruger will conduct the service. Interment in Memory Gardens.

    Wellesley - Mrs. Menno Albrecht of RR 2, Petersburg died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. She was 57. The former Irene Kropf, she was born in Wilmot Township, Sept. 25, 1912, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Kropf. She was married in Wellesley Township Dec. 17, 1929. She was a member of the Rosebank Brethern in Christ Church. Surviving besides her husband and parents are three sons, Donald of RR 2, Petersburg, Edward of Brussels and David of Brunner; one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Nancy) Hill of Kitchener, three brothers, Clarence of Kitchener, Mervin of Bamberg and Elton of Bloomingdale; five sisters, Mrs. Steven (Mary Ellen) Gingerich of Blake, Ont., Mrs. Elmer (Barbara) Roth of Waterloo, Mrs. Alvin (Idella) Leis of Wellesley, Mrs. George (Janet) Rush of Kitchener and Mrs. Ralph (Burnetta) Ruby of Chatham and nine grandchildren. The body will be at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home until Saturday when removal will be made to Rosebank Brethern in Christ Church for service at 2: 30 p.m., conducted by Rev. Wayne Schiedel. Burial will be in Rosebank cemetery.

Sadly missed by her 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.     Millbank - Earl Kropf, 38, of Millbank, died at Listowel Memorial Hospital early today.

    In ill health for six months, he had been in hospital for 10 days.

    Mr. Kropf, son of John Kropf and Mary Ann Lichti of Wellesley, was born near St. Agatha May 12, 1920.

    He married Selina Lichty of Millbank at Riverdale Mennonite Church, Aug. 31, 1949.

    Mr. and Mrs. Kropf lived in Wellesley for two years where Mr. Kropf operated a shoe repair shop.

    They moved to Millbank in 1951.

    Mr. Kropf was employed at the Hergott furniture plant in St. Clements.

    Surviving are his wife, his parents, three sons, James, 6, Peter, 5, and John, 2, one daughter, Rosemarie, 8; three brothers, Mervin of Bamberg, Clarence of Kitchener, and Elton of New Dundee and six sisters, Mrs. Menno (Irene) Albright, Petersburg; Mrs. Elmer (Barbara) Roth, Briton; Mrs. Alvin (Idella) Leis of Wellesley; Mrs. George (Janet) Rush, Kitchener; Mrs. Ralph (Burnetta) Ruby, London, and Mrs. Stephen (Mary Ellen) Gingerich, Zurich.

    The body is resting at the home in Millbank where a private funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. Public service will follow at Riverdale Mennonite Church at 2: 15. Internment will be in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Menno Zehr and Rev. Orland Gingerich will officiate.

    Helen Seyler, born in Phillipsburg, Ontario and former resident of Kitchener and Elmira, was the beloved wife of 64 years of Lloyd A. Lautenschlager. Dearly loved mother of Larry and wife Carol of Elmira, Judy Mundell and husband John of Orillia. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Jeff) Beisel, Jeffery (Penny) and Gregory (Adrienne ) Lautenschlager, Erin (Jeremy) Carpenter, Andrew and Matthew Mundell, and great grandmother of Rebecca and Tyson Lautenschlager, Kayla and Courtney Beisel.

    Dear sister of Hilda Hohl (Elmer predeceased) of Kitchener and Wilfred Seyler and wife Rita of Wellesley. Aunt Helen will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother Edgar and his wife Catherine.

    Mrs. Lautenschlager was a long-time and faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran in Kitchener and the Historical Automobile Society of Canada.
