    HILLIS, James Robert - Peacefully on Monday August 18, 1997 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. James Robert Hillis. 73 years of age, beloved husband of Mary Hillis (nee McLaughlin), dear father of John Hillis and his wife Sharon, Theresa Wylie and her husband Norm, James Hillis, all of Cambridge, and Mary Lou Pyne and her husband Phillip of Ayr. Dear grandfather of Norm, Tara, Craig, Sam, Vicki, Katie, Leanne. Jaclyn, Greg and Jay. Mr. Hillis was a veteran of W.W. II, a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #272 and the 1.O.O.F., Branch #321. Mr. Hillis will be resting at the Nelson Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday. A Memorial Service under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #272 will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday evening at 7 o'clock. A Memorial Service under the auspices of the 1.O.O.F. Branch #321 will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday evening at 7:15 p.m. The vigil for Mr. Hillis will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Visitation Church on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Those who wish, may make a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
