DEATH OF GEO C. MCLEOD

The funeral of the late George C. McLeod who died in the Kitchener Waterloo Hospital on Saturday, will be held at 2.30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the residence of Ernest Shantz, Preston Road, to the East End Mennonite Church for funeral service and burial. Deceased, whose death was due to influenza was ill for only one week prior to death. He was aged 31 years and was formerly an employee of the Lang Tannery.

He is survived by his widow, two small children, and his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Mc Leod of Saskatchewan. Mr. McLeod has been a resident of this city since a year ago last September. here from Saskatchewan. coming

Four brothers, James McLeod of Lockwood, Sask. Murdoch of Viking, Alta, Rev John McLeod, of Wyoming. Ont., and Charlie of Lanigan, Sask, also survive. Rev John Leod and Miss McLeod are in the city to attend the funeral.

Peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Cambridge, Ontario on Saturday, December 22, 2007, Rev. Wilfred Aaron (Allan) McLeod passed away after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee Harper) and loving father of David of St. Catharines. Predeceased by his first wife Ruby Cressman, his son Stuart, and his parents, George and Clara McLeod. Survived by nieces and nephews. Rev. McLeod was an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in Canada. He served congregations in Wiarton, Welland, Hamilton and Cambridge.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 2 oclock in St. Andrews (Hespeler) Presbyterian Church, 73 Queen Street, East, Cambridge. The family will welcome friends and relatives prior to the service from 12: 30 to 2 oclock. If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate remembrances to the Wilf McLeod Social Justice Fund or to The Schizophrenia Society of Ontario. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lounsbury Funeral Home
