    RUNSTEDLER, Walter Francis - Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Palmerston and District Hospital. Walter Runstedler in his 78th year, of Drayton. Survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Anne (Brenner) Runstedler and beloved children, Marlene Runstedler of Drayton, Donna and Wayne Vollmer of RR 3, Listowel, Sandra and Gerry Grubbe of Drayton, Paul and Lisa Runstedler of Millbank, Joanne and Kevin Moser of Elmira. Lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren, Matthew Brown, Amanda (Tony) Fonseca, Rebecca, William and Anthony Vollmer, Dominic and Isabella Grubbe, Sarah and Bradley Runstedler, Allison, Tyler and Ryan Moser. Survived by two sisters, Irene (Bill) Geier, Rose (Maurice) Downey; one brother, Gerard (Kate) Runstedler; one brother-in-law, Jim Lessard and two sisters-in-law, Mae Runstedler and Emmeline Runstedler. Predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Regina (Strauss) Runstedler; two brothers, Hubert Runstedler and Jacob Runstedler; and four sisters, Doretta Bratherton, Eleanor (Carl) Kroetsch, Shirley Lessard and Monica (Elmer) Witmer. Walter farmed for many years and was a construction worker. He enjoyed playing cards, especially a good game of solo. He lived all of his years outside Linwood until his retirement, when he moved to Drayton. Walter's family will receive friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Teresa of Avila RC Church, Flamingo Drive, Elmira on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 10: 30 a.m. with Rev. Sudie MacDonald C.R. officiating followed by interment in St. Clements RC Cemetery. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. In his memory, donations to St. Teresa's Parish Building Fund or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
