    HOY, Francis "Frank" - Passed away, peacefully, at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Friday, April 3, 2009, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Shirley Hoy (nee Sixtus) (2006). Loving father of Alison Madden and her husband Ted of Barrie and Pat Germann of Kitchener. Cherished papa of Sarah Vienneau and her husband Chris and Luke and Amy Germann. Adored great-papa of Leah Vienneau. Dear brother of Bunny Hooten and her husband Harry of Kitchener. Predeceased by his parents John and Esther Hoy (nee Bellamy); and by brothers Eddie and Jack. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Frank's life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. Reception to follow.     Arrived at heaven's gate on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the age of 94.

    Beloved wife of the late Harold (66 years - 2019). Loving mother of Jim (Linda) of Grand Bend, Nancy of Waterloo, Bob of Kitchener and Barb of Waterloo. Cherished grandmother of Michael, David, Thomas, Rachel, Angelee, Jack, and Michael and thirteen great-grandchildren.
    Predeceased by her parents John and Esther Hoy and her three brothers Ed, Jack and Frank.

    Barbara was a dedicated employee of Bell Canada for 28 years. She was a member of Waterloo Pentecostal Church and the Girls Club for over 60 years. Barbara was a much loved and admired family member who will be dearly missed. She was very helpful to all her family members and played a key role in all of their lives.

    Private family services entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519) 749-8467. Cremation with interment at Winterbourne Cemetery.

    As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
