Of Kitchener, died at home with her family, at the age of 74 years. Rita; dear wife of Rudolph Gross of Kitchener; loving and cherished, mother to Peggy Rogers and her husband Brian of Kitchener, Pat Lafranier and her husband Larry of Waterloo, Tom Gross and his wife Nicole of Geraldton, Paula Spengen and her husband Ben of Kitchener. Beloved grand-mother to Bonnie, Charlie, Rebecca, Teddy James, Anna, Cameron and Sadie. Dear sister of Ralph and his wife Doris Bruder of Baden, Marjorie Ireland of Waterloo, Honey and her husband Larry Boppre of Kitchener. Longtime friend to Blanche Feeney of Mannheim. Predeceased by her son. Ted: her parents. Peter and Clara Bruder and her brother, Maurice. Rita was a member of St. Joseph's Church and the Catholic Women's League. She will always be remembered by her thoughtfulness and her sense of humor. The family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Road), Kitchener, today (Thursday) from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's RC Church in Kitchener on. Saturday at 11 a.m. Private interment.

GROSS, Ted

After a courageous battle with Hodgkin's disease, at Toronto General Hospital, on Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1987, Ted Gross, in his 24th year. Loving son of Rudy and Rita Gross; loving brother of Tom and his fiance Nicole Piche of Sudbury, Peggy and her husband Brian Rogers, Pat and her husband Larry Lafranier and Paula and her husband Ben Spengen, all of Kitchener-Waterloo. Uncle Teddy will be sadly missed by nieces, Bonnie and Rebecca and nephew, Charlie. Ted will be fondly remembered by Terry-Lynn of Thunder Bay. Was predeceased by his grandparents, Frank and Agnes Gross and Peter and Clara Bruder. Ted was employed with the Thunder Bay Ambulance Service, was actively involved in minor sports and attended Cameron Heights and Conestoga College in Kitchener. The family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Road), Kitchener, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home Saturday morning at 9: 30 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Joseph's RC Church at 10 a.m., Father Donald Sanvido will officiate. Interment Parkview cemetery. Parish prayers at the funeral home on Friday evening at 8 p.m.
