DEVITT, Ron Ronald Carl Devitt, age 79, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Spruce Lodge on June 7, 2012. Ron was born in Kitchener, May 4, 1933, son of the late Carl and Loretta Devitt. Beloved husband of Helen (Jankura). Loving father of Susan Wilby (Jim), Diane Gingerich, Nancy Devitt (Jim), Robert (Susie), John (Sherry), Mark (Heike), Jennifer Devitt and Michael (deceased 2010). Grandfather of Sandy, Scott, John, Karen, Catlin, Dane, Lindsay, Jamie, Serena and great-grandfather of Avery. Also survived by a daughter-in-law Virginia Joyes, brother Jim (Ellen), sister Sandra Brandt (Paul). Lovingly remembered by the Jankura Family. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Gordon (Mary Lou), and a sister Doris Binder (Gerard). Cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St., Stratford on Wednesday, June 13, from 12: 30 until the time of the funeral service at 1: 30 p.m. Reception to follow.
