    JANTZI, Ezra N. - Peacefully, to his eternal home, on Monday, January 30, 2006, at Nithview Home in New Hamburg, Mr. Jantzi was formerly of Wellesley. Ezra was born in Mornington township 90 years ago. Son of the late Menno Jantzi and the late Susan Nafziger. Mr. Jantzi was a faithful member of the Cedar Grove Amish Mennonite Church. He farmed near Wellesley retiring in 1980. Beloved father of Gerald and his wife Bernadette Jantzi of RR 2, Wellesley, Marlene and her husband Floyd Martin of Kitchener and Reta and her husband Enos Gerber of Milverton and daughter-in-law, Edna Jantzi of Wellesley. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Nicholas Jantzi of New Hamburg, Leonard and Mary Jantzi of Brunner, Laurene and Floyd Kuepfer of Milverton and Katie and Aaron L. Jantzi of Wellesley. Ever remembered by his sisters-in-law, Katie Jantzi, Elmina Jantzi and Katie Jantzi-Wagler. On June 15, 1943, she was married to Emanuel Gerber, who died on Feb. 3, 1989. Surviving are 2 sons (Ronald and Delmar Jantzi), 3 daughters (Eleanor Jantzi, Karen Jantzi, and Marilyn Clemmer), 17 grandchildren, 9 brothers (Samuel, Claytus, Ezra, Nicholsas, Elmer, Norman, Harvey, Aaron, and Leonard), and 2 sisters (Katie Jantzi and Laurene Kuepfer). She was preceded in death by one grandchild. She was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Apr. 9, in charge of Victor Dorsch and Allen Nafziger; interment in Maple View Cemetery.

    ANTZI, Leonard N. - Answering the Lord's call, Leonard passed away peacefully at his home in Brunner, with his faithful companion at his side, on Saturday, September 5, 2009, after graciously suffering Parkinson's disease for the past ten years. Leonard was born 80 years ago in Mornington Township a son of the late, Menno L. and Susan (Nafziger) Jantzi. He had farmed on the home farm at RR 1, Brunner prior to his retirement. Leonard was a member of Fellowship Haven Amish Mennonite Church, Monkton. He was ordained on May 17, 1970 to the ministry and served in the Mornington, Fairhaven and Fellowship Haven Amish Mennonite Congregations. Beloved husband of Mary Jane (Kuepfer) Jantzi who he married January 3, 1952. Loving father of Marie and Harold Erb of RR 1, Milverton, Elaine and Laverne Ropp of RR 3, Monkton, Rosemary and Stephen Ropp of RR 1, Brunner, Paul and Nancy Jantzi of RR 2, Milverton, Larry and Beatrice Jantzi of RR 1, Brunner. Sadly missed by his 35 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Also remembered by sisters, Katie and Aaron L.     KUEPFER, Laurene (Jantzi) Passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. Laurene was born 85 years ago, a daughter of the late Menno and Susan Jantzi (Nafziger). Laurene will be dearly missed by her beloved husband Floyd Kuepfer. Cherished mother to; Mark (Mary) Kuepfer, Judy (Marc) Schaeffer, Gary (Mary Lou) Kuepfer, Steven (Sharon) Kuepfer, Colleen (Andy) Martin, Joy (Stephen) Gascho and Brent (Tammy) Kuepfer. Laurene will be dearly missed by her 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Survived by her sisters-in-law Mary Jantzi, Norma Mast, Norma Kuepfer, Elmina Jantzi, Katie Wagler, her brothers-in-law Jack (Katie) Kuepfer and Melvin (Amy) Kuepfer as well as by many nieces and nephews. Laurene is predeceased by her daughter-in-law Esther Kuepfer, mother and father-in-law Katie Lichti and John Kuepfer, her brothers and sisters; Samuel Jantzi (Katie), Claytus Jantzi (Fannie), Ezra Jantzi (Katie), Nick Jantzi (Mary), Elmer Jantzi, Norman Jantzi (Laurene), Amanda Gerber (Emmanuel), Harvey Jantzi (Katie), Katie Jantzi (Aaron L.), Aaron N. Jantzi and Leonard Jantzi as well as by her brothers-in-law Mervin Kuepfer, Melvin Jantzi and Elmer Mast. Laurene was a member of Faith Mennonite Church, Wellesley. Visitation will take place on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at Faith Mennonite Church, 1533 Chalmers Forrest Road, Wellesley. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Mennonite Church with the church ministries officiating. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. Mark Jutzi Funeral Home , Milverton assisted with the arrangements. A special thank you to Knollcrest Lodge for their kindness, care and compassion showed to our mother.     Funeral services were conducted today from Maple View Mennonite Church, Wellesley, for the late Ervin David Jantzi, 33, of R.R .1, Millbank, who died Friday, August 20, when the truck he was driving went out of control on the Queen Elizabeth Highway.

    Rev. Steven Gerber officiated.

    Burial followed in the church cemetery.

    Born in Wellesley Township, August 21, 1937, the deceased is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel N Jantzi R.R. 1, Millbank.

    Surviving besides his parents is his wife, the former Jean Jantzi, whom he married in St. Agatha, Sept. 2, 1961; one son, Robert, and three daughters, Kristine, Brenda and Mary Jane, all of home; three sisters, Mrs. Lorne (Mary) Steckley, Atwood; Mrs. Mervin (Norma) Kuepfer, Newton; and Laurene Jantzi, R.R. 1, Millbank.

    JANTZI, Raymond W.On Tuesday, Nov. 6, 1979, in Oxford County, as a result of a hunting accident, Raymond Wilfred John Jantzi, of Route 2, Wellesley. He was born in Wellesley 40 years ago.

    Dear son of Ezra and Katie Jantzi, of Route 2, Wellesley, he farmed near Wellesley all his life. A member of Maple View Mennonite Church. He farmed in Wellesley Township retiring in 1965. Beloved husband of the former Edna Jantzi; dear father of Calvin, Wayne, Myrna and Maxine, all at home; brother of Gerald of Route 2, Wellesley, Marlene (Mrs. Floyd Martin) of Elmira and Reta, (Mrs. Enos Gerber) of Route 1, Milverton.

    Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, Wellesley, after 2 p.m. Thursday. At noon Friday, Nov. 9 the remains will be removed to the Maple view Mennonite Church for the the funeral service at 2: 30. Rev. Alvin Leis and Jacob Roes will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

    Jantzi.- Raymond W., son of Ezra N. and Katie (Lichty) Jantzi, was born in Wellesley Twp., Ont., Dec. 1, 1938; died on Nov. 6, 1979; aged 40 y. On June 4, 1960, he was married to Edna Jantzi, who survives. Also surviving are 2 sons (Calvin and Wayne), 2 daughters (Myrna and Maxine), one brother (Gerald), and 2 sisters (Marlene-Mrs. Floyd Martin and Reta-Mrs. Enos Gerber). He was a member of Maple View Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Nov. 9, in charge of Jacob Roes, Alvin Leis, and Fred Augsburger; interment in adjoining cemetery.
