    Notes:

    Frank Oraszek - The death occurred at the residence of Mr. John White, 1 Oak Street, suddenly yesterday of her brother, Mr. Frank Oraszek in his 41st year. Mr. Oraszek had not been ill and his death came as a distinct shock. He has been employed in the shipping room of the Dominion Tire factory for the past ten years but prior to that time served overseas for his country having enlisted here with the 118th Battalion in 1914 and remaining in Europe till the end of the war. While overseas he was awarded three medals for bravery. He served in engagements at Loos, Saint-Elol, Ypres, Somme, Bull Grenay, Vimy Hill 70, Lens, Passchendaele, Arras, Amiens, Arras, Cambral, Mons and marched into Germany. Mr. Oraszek was born in Detroit on October 20, 1889. He was unmarried and is survived by one sister, Mrs. John White, this city. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. The funeral will be held from his sister's residence Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock with a service at the Sacred Heart Church. Interment will be made in Woodland Cemetery. (18 Aug 1930)
