CHARTRAND, Marlene T. (nee Weiler)-Peacefully at her home in Waterloo, surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of 37 years to Doug. Loving mother of Sean Ditner, Kevin Ditner, and loving stepmother of Virginia Conley (Doug), Sandy Best (John), Doug Chartrand (Kara), and Stewart Chartrand (Darcy). She will be sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as her sisters Mary Jane Pizzio (Franco) and Ann Berrini (Carlo). Predeceased by her parents Francis and Marjorie Weiler.
Marlene was a retired employee of the Region of Waterloo. She enjoyed genealogy, cooking, hosting family and friends. Family was very important to her, and she was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A private family service will be held. Interment at Memorial Gardens, Breslau.
