Passed away, on Friday, March 27, 1998, at St. Mary's General Hospital, age 92 years. Beloved husband of Laura (Hallman); dear father of Ann Psutka and Dieter of Tottenham and Paul Stouffer and Suzanne of Ayr; grandfather of Joel and Paula Stouffer, Alisdair, Nathaniel and Chris. Predeceased by his parents, John R. Stouffer and Anna Maria (Schneider); one brother and four sisters. Mr. Stouffer's family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held on Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Paul Effingham officiating. A reception will follow in the reception room of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or First United Church, Waterloo would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Elmer's roots run deep within, Waterloo County's history and heritage. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends for his involvement in so many community associations.
