    BOGLE, Gordon N. - Of Hamilton Street, Cambridge on Sunday, January 4, 1998 at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital in his 88th year. Beloved husband for the past 64 years of Marguerite Smith. Dear father of Robert of Cambridge. Lovingly remembered by three grandchildren, Gordon, Christopher, and Jennifer, and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Emily. Sadly missed by his sister Edna Wagner of Ingersol and his step-brother Allan Binder of Waterloo. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Mary Bogle, his daughter Donna Crawford (1971) and his brother Walter. Mr. Bogle was born in Luther Township and was a long-time resident of Cambridge. For 30 years he was the Chief of the Preston Police Department retiring in 1968. He was a member of St. Paul's United Church, life member of the Preston/Hespeler Masonic Lodge and a life member of the Chief Constables Association of Canada. Friends will be received at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral and Committal Services will be conducted at the Funeral Home on Thursday, January 8, 1998 at 1: 30 pm. Interment following in Preston Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation Palliative Care would be gratefully appreciated by the family.

    Passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 18th, 2013 at Heritage House, St. Jacobs at the age of 82. Beloved mother of John (Laurel). Dear aunt of Cathy Frost (Ken). Predeceased by her parents Walter and Luella Bogle and sister Joyce.

    Alice's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Sunday September 22, 2013 from 2 - 2:45 pm. A celebration of her life will be held in the chapel at 3 pm. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Fountain Street, Cambridge.

    PRESTON, Mrs. Raymond Crawford, 116 Robinson St., Hamilton, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton. She was 28. Mrs. Crawford was the former Donna Bogle and was born in Kitchener. She had resided in Hamilton for 1 1/2 years. Prior to that she lived in Preston and Toronto. She was a nurse's assistant and was a member of Centenary United Church, Hamilton. Besides her husband she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bogle and one brother Robert, of Kitchener. The body is at the Barthel-Stager Funeral Home where the funeral service will be conducted, Saturday, at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Preston cemetery.
